The next day I felt a little person on my back. The little munchkin is back.

"Hi Sissy." She hugged me.

"Hey, munchkin." I mumbled.

My baby sister who is 4 years old, Nikki Giordano. She went to the Lake with our grandparents, she begged our parents to let her go before kindergarten starts.

"I missed you." She said as she rolled down to the other side of the bed.

"I did too." I hugged her and then kissed her cheeks.

"Alright, little one, time to get ready for kindergarten." Dad told Nikki.

"Yes, daddy." She salute him and then made a run.

"Come here." He run after her, I laughed. I needed this moment after yesterday.

I stopped by the window and saw him talking on the phone. By the faces he's making, looks like is that intern. I sighed as I made my way to the bathroom and did my daily routine. I came downstairs and everyone was eating.

"Hey, princess." Nate greeted me.

"Hey Nate." I smiled.

"Here's your breakfast." Dad told me.

"I'm not hungry. I'll see you all later." With that said, I left the house and drove off to school.

"Well, there goes my ride." Belle huffed. The others laughed.

...........

I was opening my locker, when a very angry, Belle walked my way.

"Thanks for abandoning me."

"I was in a hurry." I replied as I grabbed my books.

"Davina, is this because my brother is dating that new intern at the company?"

I turned and furrowed my brows, "so it's official, they're dating? I thought it was just a one time thing.".

"I overheard him talking to this girl making plans, he sounded like a high-school boy. I went to his room after he finished talking, and he told me this girl was special and reminded him of Katie." She said as I sighed.

"Thanks for telling me the truth and not sugar coat it." I closed the locker door. "I guess this is a sign to move on, and I will."

"You know I would never lie to you. And if it makes you feel better, I wish it was you making plans with him and not that puttana." She rolled her eyes.

I chuckled. "How is it that you learn the bad words, and bot the good ones."

"Eh, the bad comes in handy." She smirked.

I shook my head, I can always count on Belle, to cheer me up. I love that she goes straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush.

..........

I was walking to my car, when someone grabbed my arm and turned me around. It was, Ethan Salgado. One of the popular kids. He is cute, not Nate because the dude is extremely handsome.

"Hi, Davina.".

"Hey, Ethan."

"I was wondering, if you would like to go on a date this Saturday?"

I thought about it, I mean it's it's move on, and Ethan is cute and a good guy. I think. "Sure," We exchanged numbers and he told me he will pick me up at 7pm.

Belle catch up to me and gave me a look, "date with Ethan, huh?"

"Yeah, Belle. It's juts one date, although I prefer to see it as hanging out." We got in and I drove us home.

"Alright." She chuckled.

We arrived home and we went inside y house.

"Are you sure you want to go on a date?" Belle asked me again, she worried too much.

"Who's going on a date?" We turned to see Nate.

"Me, I got asked today."

"Well, that's good." He said simply as he looked into my eyes.

"Yeah." I said as my gaze never left his.

Belle

You're telling me, there's nothing going on here? The tension in this room is insane, I'm just gonna go for a run. I rolled my eyes at these two. I went to change and then went to the park. After 30 minutes of running, I stopped.

"No one cares about your family's restaurant, the food is awful." A girl said to the person that was handing out flyers.

"Yeah, so stop handing those stupid flyers." The other girl laughed.

"Oops." A guy said as he grabbed the flyers and throw them.

I furrowed my brows. What's wrong with these three. I walked over there.

"I've done nothing to you." She said above a whisper as tears fell down her cheeks.

"Well, we don't like lesbians."

"Hey losers, leave her alone. What's your problem?" I said furiously.

I hate bullying, especially when they're bullying because of their sexual orientation.

"Ah, don't tell me you're also a freak who likes girls." One of them said as the others laughed.

"Oh sweetie, the only freaks here are you three. Now leave before I call that man over there to teach you a lesson." I said pointing at the bodyguard in front of my dad's office. "Hey, Jeffrey!"

He turned around and walked over to us. The three of them flee. I laughed.

"You okay?" I asked the girl who was grabbing the flyers.

"Yes." She wiped her tears.

"Everything good?" Jeffrey asked me. I nodded. He gave me a hug and then went to his spot.

I handed the girl the flyers and she thanked me.

"I'm, Belle."

"I'm, Sarah." We shook hands.

"So, what type of food you serve?"

"We serve traditional Italian food." She replied as we walked to who knows where.

"Ah, my best friends dad is an authentic Italian, he is always searching for traditional Italian food."

"Well, you can show him the flyer, I'm sure he will like it." She smiled.

Damn, she has such a beautiful smile and her voice was so sweet. At least this girls bats for the same team, so that's a plus.

"So, where do you go to school?" I asked as I shoved People the flyers.

"Your regular public school filled with bullies queen bees and many more." She replied.

"I've dealt with those, I got Jeffrey to teach them a lesson." I grinned, she laughed.

We reached her restaurant and the smell was delicious. She order something and then sat with me. Minutes later the food arrived and I tried it and omg.

"How does this place doesn't have more customer?" I said in between bites.

"Usually people don't like restaurants that aren't 5 stars." A man said, "I'm Paolo, her father."

"Well. This is amazing. I'll make sure this place gets the recognition it deserves." I ate some more, "oh man, this is incredible."

They both chuckled.

"I like her." Her dad told Sarah. She just smiled and blushed.

"Can I have your number?"

She blushed some more as she gave it to me. I smiled, finally a decent girl. Thank God I love running, otherwise I would've missed this person.
