I read a letter from Sister Lily with a small smile, glad to hear everyone's okay back in Hage. There was a knock at my door, so I put away the letter.
"Come in." I called out.
The door opened revealing Risacca.
There are literally no images of her not elfed. I don't remember anything about the blue rose members except for Puli so I basically made their characters from what I would expect.
"Good morning Y/n. Lady Charlotte asked for you." The woman said.
"Alright. Give me a minute and I'll be out." I told her.
"I apologize but she wants to see you now."
"And I apologize, but I need to get dressed. Could you please get out? That is, unless you want to help me?" I asked flirtatiously.
She blushed and walked out, closing the door with no response. I finished putting my clothes on, and walked out. Risacca was standing outside waiting on me, and I followed her to Charlotte's room.
"I like your robe." I complimented.
"It's the exact same as yours." She responded flatly.
"It looks better on you though. If you weren't a Blue Rose I guarantee that men would be all over you." I said.
"Really? Are you not a man?" She asked.
"Are you really this unaware? I have been hitting on you just about this whole time." I said with a sigh.
"Well, you are rather attractive yourself. If it weren't for me swearing to not engage in a relationship with a man I might have even pursued your favor." She said hiding her embarrassment.
"True. Well, let's see what the captain has in store for us." I said, motioning to the door before us.
Rosacca knocked, and Charlotte told us to enter. We walked in, and saw her sitting on her bed, putting her boots on.
"I'm sorry I'm not neater right now. I just got out of a bath." She explained.
"Not to worry. You should wear your hair down more often, captain. It looks really beautiful." I told her.
"Thank you. However I am not concerned with my beauty right now. I don't care how the men feel about my looks." She stated.
"Meh, men tend to listen to more attractive women with less resistance so there's a strategic reason." I said.
"Y/n, we live in the same building. You'll see me with my hair down plenty." She said.
I pumped my fist when her back was turned, and sat at her desk.
"So, what did you need us for boss?" I asked.
"There is a village near us that has bandit issues. I want you, Risacca, and Galgaria to go check it out.
"Did you call me captain?" The blonde asked opening the door.
She was definitely waiting outside the door. No way she wasn't.
We left for the village, only to have a minor dilemma. I don't have a broom yet. That dilemma was solved almost instantly for me, when Risacca offered to let me ride with her.
I got on her broom, and we took off towards the village.
"Alright, so we just need to handle the bandits, and they need to be alive. Those are the only details that are non-negotiable." Risacca explained, looking at me when she said alive.
"You got it!" I said with a salute.
"How should we approach?" Galgaria asked.
"They're just bandits, and we're magic knights. We should be fine if we just approach." I said.
"Oh, right. Sorry." She said nervously.
"Uh, I forgive you? There's no need to apologize." I said.
"Really? Sorry about that."
"Stop apologizing."
"Yes sir, sorry!"
"Stop it!"
"Oh no, you're upset, I'm sorry!"
".....Are you doing this on purpose?"
"No."
"Okay. Just stop apologizing."
"Alright, I-"
"Don't do it."
"Focus, we're here." Risacca interuppted.
We got off the brooms and walked into the town, seeing the group of bandits standing in the middle. I raised an eyebrow, as they all smirked.
"So these are the great magic knights they sent? Kill the guy, and put the girls in my tent." The leader said, licking his lips.
Galgaria whimpered in fear and hid behind us, as the bandit leader eyed her.
"Are you sure their lives are non-negotiable?" I asked.
"Just the rest. I'm willing to compromise on this guy." Risacca answered.
He laughed, and pointed a sword at us.
"Maybe if you just don't pay attention he might die of alcohol poisoning. Bandits drink all the time, right?" I asked.
"That's right. Galgaria."
"Y-yes?" The scared girl said.
"We're going to keep these guys off of Y/n so he can have a nice, manly discussion with the bandit." Risacca said calmly.
Galgaria brought out her grimoire and stepped out from behind us.
"Y-yes Ma'am!" She said.
I held up a bottle of bourbon and whiskey with a smile.
"Alright Mr. Big Bad Bandit, pick your poison."
