Chapter 2 (Emotionless Eyes)

“Hyung, are you okay? You're spacing out, like maybe.. 30 minutes right now” I looked at Daniel, he's scrolling to his phone. Woah! He notice me while busy scrolling on his phone? Multitasker!

“I can see you rolling your eyes” He said. I looked at him “How do you see? Are you a monster?” I asked as he laughed. “Peripheral Vision” He answered shortly so I nodded

Daniel and Jungwon are my dormmates. We are just waiting for Jungwon so we can eat together. Wait, eat together? So it means we need food? Food!?

I looked at Daniel and shook him “Dan, do we have anything to eat!? We don't have any food! I have to buy, otherwise Won will be mad. I'm sure he's hungry!” I said and immediately went to our room to get my wallet and phone.

I immediately exited the dorm and walked down the dark hallway. The guard will let me out because it's only six o'clock, our curfew is eight o'clock.
As I walked down the hallway I saw two boy talking. As I get closer and closer to them I can already see who they are.

Sunghoon looked at me who's talking to Heeseung. I smiled and bowed. I didn't bother them anymore because what they were talking about seemed important.

I was about to go out of the gate when someone called my name. I turned to see who he was. “Heeseung hyung?” I asked when I saw him approaching me “Bestie!” I shouted and smiled.

He smiled at me “Where are you going?” He asked me “I will buy food” I told him “I will go with you” He said and held my arm. I just let him pulled me.

Is he really my friend now? And is he really smiling?

I poked his cheek so he stopped walking, confused he looked at me. “Why?” He asked me “Are you Heeseung hyung? My bestie? Are you sure it's you? You know, the one who's always ignoring me” I can't believe. “Yes, that's me. You're so naughty”

He said and put his arm around me “You're so---cute, every hour that passes that I don't see you seems insignificant to me. I always want to see you, and I want to hear your voice---everyday”

He said as we walked, I felt the redness on my face so I headed over. I heard his faint laugh, so I slapped him on the arm. He just teased me until we got to a fast food, I chose what I would buy, Heeseung hyung also bought.

Heeseung hyung paid for me. When he came out, he just smiled at me. I also smiled at him. “How much did I buy?” I asked him and handed my wallet to him “Its free” He answered, but I just shook my head and stomped my feet like a child.

“I can't! There's nothing free now” He just laughed and messed up my hair. “For you, everthing's free, baby”

“Eh? You sayin' something?” He just smiled

He walked away, I chased him and clung to his arm “How much is this really?” I stared at him, he just laughed and turned my face away from him “Heeseung hyung” I was suddenly scared by the serious voice I heard, I clung so tightly to Heeseung hyung to see Sunghoon's serious face.

“I was looking for you, you're just here. And you're with him” He said and looked at me from head to toe. “What are you doing here?” Heeseung hyung asked him a serious question, I just exchanged glances with the two of them, because they have the same eyes.

The face has no expression and the eyes have no emotion.

“Come with me, let's talk” Sunghoon said, he looked at me before looking at my hand holding Heeseung hyung's arm. He approached me and pushed me hard, I fell to the ground.

It hurts, it hurts so much. I looked at Heeseung hyung but he was just looking at me, he followed Sunghoon. He went back to normal, Heeseung hyung went back to normal. I saw his emotionless eyes again, and that was what I disliked the most.

I just sighed and tried to stand up even though my hip hurt from falling earlier.

I forced myself to stand until someone laid a hand in front of me “Niki” I said and accepted his hand. He helped me stand up and placed his hand on my waist to support my walk.

“I saw what happened” He said seriously, I swallowed in fear. Niki only gets serious once, he's a naughty kid, he always makes pranks. When I see his serious face, I get scared. It was as if he was ready to kill someone because of how he looked.

“Ah yes, but--”

“What do you want me to do with them?” He asked seriously “What to do? You have nothing to do” I laughed.

He tightened his grip on my waist so I stopped walking “Why? Can't you walk properly?” Even before I could answer, he picked me up like a bridal style. I was surprised at first and embarrassed because we were in a public place, but there weren't many people.

“Am I not heavy?” I asked but he just smiled foolishly “You're not heavy” He said “Because you're too heavy”

He added to what he was saying so I squeezed his face “Do you want to fall again? But the difference is, your head first” I just rolled my eyes

We got to the campus dorm, he dropped me off to our dorm, I thanked him. He left quickly because he had something else to do, I entered our dorm and I found Daniel and Jungwon making noise

“Why did you let him go out alone? What if something bad happens to him?”

“I chased him, hyung. But he's with Heeseung!”

“Is he with someone?”

“Yeah! You want me to repeat it again? I said earlier that he had someone with him!” Won just shook while scratching his neck. “Hi?” I said, they both looked at me. Jungwon quickly hit me

“You make me worried!” He shouted I just laughed and handed him the food I bought. He quickly accepted it and went to the kitchen. Daniel just scratched his head “I was scolded” He complained to me like a child

I sat on the sofa. Only one runs through my mind.

Heeseung hyung's emotionless eyes.

Those eyes are nice to look at when he's smiling and hopefully I'll be the one to make him smile
