Part 32

Betty POV

As I was walking into the school, I noticed Jughead with his group of friends laughing and I saw a bright smile on his face. B-"asshole." I said under my breath before Cheryl ran up to me bringing me into a hug. C-"hey girlie! You look upset what's wrong?" She asked pulling away and making eye contact.
B-"oh it's nothing, just Jughead being an ass."
C-"When you sent me that text about what happened, I actually screamed! He's got issues." She stated pulling me along in the hallway as we walked to our first class we had together.

I sat in my class barely paying attention and only thinking about Jughead. Had he really tried to befriend me because he wanted information from our mafia? Does he really think I'm that stupid!?
He's the actual idiot. I got a text a few minutes later, and as I suspected it to be Veronica sending me some meme, I was surprised to see Jugheads name.
J-come to your locker.
B-I'm in class.
J-I don't care.
J-come here.

I raised my hand and asked the teacher if I could go to the bathroom, he was annoyed that I was interrupting his class so he just sighed a harsh yes. I got up and made my way to my locker. When I got there I saw Jughead looking out the window while leaning against my locker. B-"what do you want, dick." J-"I know that's what you want, but I'm just here to talk." He teased, making me roll my eyes.

J-"my dad's and asshole. I promise that all the shit he said wasn't true. I never tried to use you, besides I would've just stayed as rival enemies for that." He looked sincere but I didn't want to be that naive.
B-"you done?" J-"do you believe me?" He asked and I simply just walked away.

Jughead came running behind me, calling out.
J-"Betty please." He said stopping in his tracks. I continued walking though. J-"please just come over tonight?" He asked but I stayed quiet. J-"the door will be unlocked." He said a little quieter before walking the other direction.
