Part 39

Sweet Pea POV

V-"I still can't believe I spent the day with him around! I mean I did just learn him and his dad have been stalking my family!" She drunkenly spoke and laughed while in the driveway of her house. We've been sitting here for a long time, while she has told me stories. S-"Wait what? Stalking you?" V-"Yeah! Like with cameras they set up I think" she said with a 'it's crazy right?' tone. I pulled out my phone and went to the group chat with Me, Jug, and Toni.

S-Dude what is wrong with you guys! You've been stalking the Lodges?
J-I haven't been
S-Your dad has, and I'm pretty sure you knew!
J-I did, but its not a big issue
T-Jughead you're so stupid

I was about to respond when Toni FaceTimed me. I picked up and Veronica got super excited when she saw Toni on my screen. Veronica told Toni what she told me, and Toni was visibly upset. T-"FP said he wouldn't do that! I told him it was stupid to do that!" She grunted loudly and I nodded my head in agreement. S-"Well Jones' aren't known for being the best people." I stated and got a small 'yeah' from the pink haired girl over the phone. I looked over to see Veronicas eyes fighting sleep S-"Toni I'll call you back." I said before hanging up on her and getting out of my side of the car. I went over and helped Veronica out, which she smiled at me for. God her smile is gorgeous.

She let me in her house, and I walked with her to her room. She pointed to her door V-"That's mine." She told me before peeking her head into the door next to her. V-"She's not back yet." She stated, and I figured she meant Betty, before she went over and into her room. S-"I'll see you at school sometime Ronnie." I said before turning around, she grabbed my arm swiftly and turned me back around, smashing her lips against mine. I gladly welcomed the kiss, before she pulled away smiling. V-"Okay! See you later!" I left her house with the biggest smile on my face.

Betty POV

The next morning I woke up to a blaring alarm, and jughead swearing. J-"shit, shit, shit." He hopped out of the bed and looked back at me. J-"You can go back to sleep, betts. Sorry that was loud." He said with his hand stroking my face softly. He backed away and I sat up from his bed. B-"I have to go to school too dummy." I said forcing myself away from the warmth of his comforter. J-"I know, just wanted to let you sleep." He said pulling on a white button up. I stared at him for a moment before realizing I was probably being creepy, so I went into the bathroom.

Around 30 minutes later we got into his car and he drove us to my house, so I could get dressed. I went inside quickly, and ran to my room. I searched through my closet for something presentable to wear. I grabbed a white corset, a pair of baggy ripped jeans, and a black flannel I had stolen from Jug at some point. I basically threw the clothes on, and grabbed my makeup bag before going back out to jugheads car. When I was situated in the seat, I opened up the makeup bag, and pulled down the little mirror from the ceiling. I did some pretty basic makeup since the ride to the school was pretty short.

He parked in the back parking lot for the school and I shoved my makeup bag into my backpack that I had grabbed on the way out of my house. Jughead walked around the hood of the car and opened my door for me. I stood up, and I got up before he shut the door. J-"I don't think I said it yet today, you look fantastic in my clothes love." He said, taking my hand in his as we walked up to the entrance of Riverdale High. Before we walked in the door I let go of my hand, as we were already getting stares from people in the front parking lot. He frowned a little but I could tell he understood why.
