𝙢𝙞𝙖'𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙫

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 hours of waiting the doctor's released me from the hospital. A bit after that Hannah finally woke up. I was still trying to wrap my head around her being bionic.

Hannah was talking to Ms. Woods and Mr. Davenport. I could see her eyes widen in shock and a smile crept up her face. I saw Erica walking towards me with two slushies in her hands.

She gave me one before sitting down next to me. "How are you holding up?" I asked which made her turn her face to look at me. "Fine." She turned back to see her look down at the slushie in her hands. "I know you're not fine, Eri." I don't know what it was, but it was like I could feel what she was feeling. It was like I was feeling it too.

Erica looked at me, confusion written all over her face. A wave of thoughts entered my mind in a blink of an eye. I just looked at her. "You think it's your fault." Erica looked dumbfounded. "How did you-" She got caught off my Ms. Woods coming over with Hannah. "So, Hannah was discharged from the hospital. I already packed some clothes for you girls just incase. We're gonna head home, okay? Mia, you and Hannah can pack anything else you want. You'll have to leave first thing tomorrow." I nodded and so did Erica.

The two of us got up and we were about to get out of the room when Hannah stopped us. "Wait! I have a better way of getting us home." The three of us raised an eyebrow at her. "Mia, you can geo-" I caught her off. "No, I'm not gonna geo-leap us home. I think I had enough of bionics for one day. Now come on." Hannah pouted as I ruffled her hair. I was scared that something was gonna happen to this kid, but she stayed the same. Well- partially.

The clock was about to strike midnight. Which meant Hannah and I have been packing for the past 5 HOURS. We didn't exactly know what to pack for an island filled with people with powers. Although we were told that we might have to wear uniforms, which was a relief for me because I was tired and didn't wanna pack anymore, but SOMEONE insisted on continuing just incase.

"Okay so I think we have everything we need. WAIT I got the sunscreen right?" I took the bottle that was inside my bag. "Yes you did. Wait do bionic people get sunburn?" We both exchanged looks. "Eh." We shrugged as I put the sunscreen back in my bag.

"Well then that's all!" Hannah exclaimed and I let out a huge sigh of relief before laying down on her bed. "FINALLY." Before Hannah could reply there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Hannah said as she closed her suitcase. The door opened slightly revealing Erica. "Mia, can I talk to you for a second?" I looked at Hannah and she shrugged. I look back at Erica and nod.

I stood up and she opened the door a bit more so I can get out of the room. She quickly closed it and pulled me away from the room. "How did you do that?" I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at her with confusion. "Do what?" Erica looked a bit frustrated. "Earlier. At the hospital. You said that I thought it was my fault. How did you know what I was thinking?" I shrugged. "I don't know. I just knew."

Erica shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest. "That's it? You just 'knew?' I don't buy that." I just tilt my head and raise an eyebrow. "And you don't have to. I'm not lying." Erica's face softened. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I don't know what got into me, but that was just recking my brain."

I nodded, smiling slightly. "It's fine, but seriously I have no idea how I knew that. It's like I knew what you were feeling before you even said anything." Erica nodded. "Also, if you ever want to talk about it. I'm right here even when we're gone you can just give me a call." I said, ruffling her hair a little before walking back to Hannah's room to get my bag and suitcase. Tomorrow was definitely a big day.

This morning was almost like a complete blur. It all happened so fast. One minute we were waking up, then eating breakfast, then going to the hydro-loop station, and now we're on the damn thing. Erica didn't come, but Ms. Woods did. She wanted to come with and leave us at the island before heading back.

"WE'RE HERE!" Hannah yelled in excitement as the doors opened revealing Mr. Davenport and three other people. I picked up my bag and suitcase while Ms. Woods helped Hannah with her bags. That girl is way too over prepared.

We exited the hydro-loop and I got a better look at the other people there. It was the siblings Hannah told me about. "Welcome to the DAVENPORT Bionic Academy!" I could here two of the groan and the other one was probably in la la land. "We're glad to be here." I said as I nudged Hannah who seemed ecstatic.

She made her way over to the siblings. "Hi I'm Hannah. I'm a really big fan of you guys!" Two of them smiled while the other one was still in his dream world. "Nice to meet you, Hannah. I'm Bree and these are my brothers Adam and Chase. We're happy to have you here, right guys?" She looked at the two and Chase smiled nodding. Bree nudged Adam and he looked at her then at Hannah. "Oh, sorry. I was thinking about what to eat later."

The two siblings groaned, Davenport rolled his eyes, and Ms.Woods just looked confused. "Well he certainly got the smart chip." I said sarcastically while Adam just glared at me, Bree laughed, and the other three were trying not to laugh. Ms. Woods put a hand on my shoulder and on Hannah's. "Well I have to go, but I'll call you girls all the time. If anything happens, Mr. Davenport-" The man cut her off.

"I'll contact you immediately." Ms. Woods nodded and planted a kiss on Hannah's head then on mine. We saw her get on the hydro-loop and leave. "Anyways, I'm Mia." I was about to extend my hand for a handshake when I saw a boy come in and look at me with fear and anger. "BREE GET BACK!" Before I knew it, the boy threw a energy sphere right at me.

"MIA!"

"Leo what did you do?!?"

That's all I heard before I blacked out.
