It was early in the morning and I opened my eyes to see my capsule being opened by Chase. "What are you--" He cut me off. "Just come with me." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my capsule then dragged me all the way to the mentor's quarters. Once we got the he let go of my hand and took a deep breath. Then he screamed like there was no tomorrow.

"GUYS, WAKE UP! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT!" Leo fell off the couch and started doing the same jumpy thing as Chase. "WE WERE SLEEPING! WE WERE SLEEPING! WE WERE SLEEPING!" Bree and Adam exit out of their capsules, sleepily. "Chase, it is 5:30 in the morning. What's going on?" No wonder I'm so tired. This bitch really woke me up at 5:30 in the morning.

"It took five years but Mr. Davenport and I finally cracked it. We created a new technology that's gonna revolutionize the way the world gets its energy." I deadpanned. "Did he just wake us up to talk about science?" Adam asked and we all nodded. "I don't care where you hit him, just make it hurt." Chase rolled his eyes for a moment before going back to being excited. "COME ON!"

Chase grabs my hand and I look back to see Bree, Adam, and Leo doing hand holding, kissing, and heart gestures. I stuck out my very friendly finger at them, making them look at me very offended before we finally got there. We walked into the room. "Oh, you are so beautiful. Oh, yes you are. I love you, I love you, I love you, I--" I cleared my throat, cutting him off. "Were you just talking to a glass cube?" Bree asked and Mr. Davenport shook his head.

"No! I was talking to my reflection in a glass cube." I groaned as I walked over to Bree. "Here she is. The DavenChase Energy Transponder." Chase said with a big smile. It was was honestly pretty cute to see him so excited. "That little thing is what you two have been working on for the past five years? Your genius is fading, young Chase." Adam said, making all of us, but them laugh. "Yeah, if you think that's impressive, I've got a log cabin made of popsicle sticks that will blow your mind." I nodded in agreement. "I've seen it. Honestly amazing." Leo smiled at me, proudly.

"So, uh, what does it do?" Bree asked. "It's kind of like Leo's energy-transference ability. It wirelessly harnesses energy from sources around it, then stores it. So it's the ultimate power source." Chase explained. "Aw, cool! I've been looking for a new phone charger. Crack her open and juice me up." We all gave Adam a look. "It's not a phone charger, Adam. It's a billion-dollar piece of technology. This little device packs enough punch to power an entire skyscraper." Mr. Davenport explains as we all except Adam nod in understanding.

"So what'll that give me, like, 15 hours of talk time?" All of us groan at Adam's words, making him look at all of us very much so offended. "Right now, this is just a one-of-a-kind prototype. But soon, the entire world will run of my technology." Mr. Davenport said, causing Chase to look at him with confusion written all over his face. "Uh, I think you mean our technology?" Mr. Davenport nodded. "Yeah. My technology. Here, let me show you how it works. For security reasons, we're keeping it in this impenetrable cube that can only be opened with my retina scan."

Mr. Davenport started doing the retina scan and Leo grinned. "Eye am impressed." Leo let out a chuckle. "Get it? 'Cause he has to use the eye to open the thing." I patted his shoulder as he sighed. They got the transponder out of the case and started walking over to the mini table to put it there. "Oh, you're so-- Careful, careful. Isn't it amazing?" Chase said as we just watched it there. "It's not doing any--" Chase snapped at me. "IT'S HARVESTING ENERGY!" I put my hands up in defense and pursed my lips.

"Yeah, sorry, but all I see is a phone charger. Does it come with a cute, little carrying case?" Adam questioned, making Chase snap. "Okay, Adam. Still think it's a phone charger? Go ahead, put your phone on there." Chase crossed his arms as his face harden in a mix of anger and frustration. "Thank you. Don't mind if I do." Adam placed the phone on the transponder and the phone burned then flinged across the room.
