helping leo + one of us

"mia, wake up." i groaned feeling someone shake me. "mia. wake. UP." my eyes opened up still a little sleepy and with my blurry vision i could see leo dressed with normal clothing.

"leo? what the hell."

"hey, sleepy head."

i blinked a couple times to gain better vision as i feel leo grab my arm and lead me out of my capsule. i let out a small yawn before looking at him still confused as ever. "what's going on?"

"well, what if i told you that i need someone to help me with a woman problem?" my eyes widened as much as they could in my sleepy state hearing that leo of all people had a woman problem.

"did you offend your mom or something? because i can not help you with that." i was gonna turn back to go into my capsule, but leo stopped me by stepping in front of me. "no, it's not about my mother. it's about my girlfriend."

"did you just say girlfriend or am i still dreaming?" i blurted out in utter confusion. leo rolled his eyes at my question. "yes, yes i did say i have a girlfriend. why is that so unbelievable?"

"wait don't answer that." he quickly stopped me from answering his own question probably knowing that i was gonna have a list of reasons. which i was. "anyways, her name is janelle and she called me and--"

"threatened to break up with you?"

"yes, how did you know?" leo asked a bit astonished at how fast i knew.

"eh, i do it chase everytime he pisses me off. well, not really because then that would be too many times. it's mostly when he really pisses me off."

"how is chase not in the middle of the atlantic ocean right now?" i shrugged. "anyways, as i was saying. janelle threatened to break up with me so i need some help with what she might like to give her as an im sorry for leaving you for awhile please forgive me gift. also, that way you can get out of this island prison and we can have a besties day."

"that last part was the cringiest shit ive ever heard, but fine ill help you." i responded which made leo jump up and down in excitement. i crossed my arms watching him celebrate before he tried to hug me.

"yeah, no." he quickly stopped, making me chuckle a bit. "well, let's go, princess evil!" he grabbed my hand and next thing i knew we were already on our way to the mainland.

we were currently at the mission creek mall, eating ice cream before going back to getting some more presents for janelle. it was still early so we weren't really worried.

"so, i was thinking we could also get her a bracelet or a ring? like a statement you know?" i nodded to show understanding while leo was rambling about other things he wanted to get janelle.

"maybe you could get her food. people love food." leo nodded while taking in a spoonful of ice cream, finishing it.

after awhile we left the mall and were outside the dooley's home. "this is actually very nice what the hell." leo looked at me weirdly. "what did you expect? my stepdad's literally rich."

"oh, right. i keep forgetting you're related to chase." leo rolled his eyes and opened the door to his house. there on the couch was tasha and my mom? "mom? what are you doing here?"

she quickly stood up as i approached her and gave her a hug. "well i can ask you the same thing. aren't you supposed to be at the academy?" i quickly pulled back and pursed my lips, awkwardly. "uh im helping leo?"

she let out a small chuckle and smiled at me and waved at leo who was waving maniacally behind me. "

"sam and i are talking about our wonderful kids. oh, and about starting a book club!" tasha said with a smile walking over to my mom and i. "well, mother. mia and i are gonna be upstairs getting all of these presents ready for janelle. just incase."
