A unexpected couple

chapter 9

3rd POV

When izuku got back it was 8:06pm, his phone had died while he was out but he didn't think much of it. He had been training most of the day while also making sure things would go smoothly for his and minas anniversary tomorrow. When he walked through the dorm doors he was met with a turned upside down common room and extremely messy kitchen with all the lights off only the moon pouring in from the windows. The sofa's in the common room were flipped over as if it was used as a shield for something. The potted plants that were next to the tv were smashed and said tv was missing. The kitchen had pots and pans everywhere and broken glass in the mix. With all this chaos izuku thought there was a villain attack but there was no sign of cops or pro hero's, nor was there any sight of his classmates quirks let over if there was said villain attack.

His first thought was to call aizawa but then he noticed a small fort made of chairs and the extra blankets they had in a nearby closet. He carefully walked over to it trying not to step on anything. He pulled the cover back to see a disheveled aoyama, koda and satou. "Midoriya! Where the hell have you been!" Satou frantically yelled once it sank in who he was looking at. Midoriya face morphed into a confused yet slightly less worried expression. "I was out training and handling things today, what the hell happened here?!" The green eyed boy replied, to be answered by a nervous koda. "Mineta said that he knew who mina's boyfriend was and then they flipped out". Izuku's eyebrows furrowed but he simply nodded already having an idea of who 'they' were. He was about to walk away to go look for anyone else in the class but aoyama spoke up stopping him. "Midoriya, they brought up your name as a prime suspect.. of ya know being ashido's boyfriend, I just wanted to know if it's true" izuku pondered for a moment thinking if he should tell them, he decided to tell them with a nod making them hum in acknowledgment.

Izuku walked off to the elevator passing more broken potted plants. He headed up to minas floor to see if she was in her as her safety was his main priority right now. As he approached the door he heard muffled talking almost like his muttering habit. However there was also what sounded like muffled screaming, the voice was deep and hoarse.

He opened the once locked door using the key Mina gave him on their six month anniversary. Upon opening he door he was met with brown, bi colored, green, three pairs of black, red and yellow eyes. And floating clothes. Todorokis board was in the room with him jirou and uraraka standing by it. Momo, sero and kaminari was sitting on the bed. Kirishima was standing near a wall that had a duck taped Bakugo and tokoyami on it with their mouths taped up. Mina was tied to a chair in the middle of the room.

Everyone was silent for 5 whole minutes until midoriya looked up at the ceiling to see a knocked out mineta taped to it with duck tape on his mouth as well. Izuku muttered "what the actual fuck" making Bakugo and tokoyami go feral but due to the tape izuku couldn't understand a word they said. "Guys what the ACTUAL fuck, don't you think this is a little much over trying to find out someone's boyfriend!?" Izuku expressed walking into the room starting to untie Mina. "No, to be honest a don't think it's much at all" todoroki said in a flat tone to which izuku stared at him for. "Yeah midobro how would you feel if your best friend of three years, had a boyfriend and not tell you about it but tells TWO people she barely talks to about it" kirishima piped up making almost everyone nod in agreement. "I would respect their wishes kirishima, and in case you forgot I did go threw something like that with YOU and Kacchan, I've known him my whole life, he didn't tell me who he was dating for the first three months of you two dating, and like a DECENT FUCKING HUMAN I respected his wishes. So FUCKING what she didn't tell you guys, dose privacy not matter at all to you?" Izuku spat clearly irritated, now moving to un-tape Bakugo and tokoyami.

All except todoroki held there heads down in shame he just had a small smile on his face, from thinking that, izuku's rant only proved him to be more of a suspect aka meaning if he solves this case he would be the best detective ever!

Once fully un-taped tokoyami just walked out not even sparing a glance at his classmates to tired to even talk. Bakugo on the other hand just gave a disappointed look to his boyfriend and walked out. Mina had left right behind Bakugo, headed toward izuku's room so that this day could be over with already. Izuku sighed and looked up to see mineta regaining consciousness. He got up on the chair the pink haired girl once sat on and carefully got him down. The ex-perverted grape scurried out the room contemplating if it was to late to change to class 1-b. Izuku was about to walk out but he stopped to say one finale thing. "I won't tell aizawa, however I am disappointed you guys, especially you Yao-momo." And with that he left them to process everything they just did.

When izuku got to his room he was met with his tearful eyed girlfriend, she looked like she was on the verge of crying yet she had the blankest face ever. He scooped her up carrying her bridal style towards his bed. As soon as he layed down on the bed with her head on his chest she let out a choked up sob. Izuku stayed silent letting her get it all out before they talked about what happened.

20 minutes went by, the yellow eyed girl finally calmed herself down enough so that she could talk. "Can you tell me what happened?" Izuku asked drawing mindless shapes on her shoulder blade as a way of comfort to which she nodded before speaking up. " after you left  we were watching tv in the common room, while it was on commercial mineta said that he knew randomly......" izuku hugged her tightly wordlessly telling her to continue.

"It was silent for a couple minutes then the next thing I new there was yelling, and mineta was running trying to get away from sero who was shooting his tape trying to catch him. Jirou and momo where going after Bakugo..but then tokoyami spoke saying he knew as well kiri and kami were chasing him in the kitchen while dark shadow was throwing things to slow them down. Iida, koda, aoyama and satou tried to stop everything but it only resulted in iida being sent to recovery girl and the other three making a fort in the corner so they don't get hit or worse." She stopped to take a breath and make sure izuku was still listening to which he nodded letting her continue. " eventually the four of us got caught. They didn't hurt us physically but...uh verbally is...a different story..." izuku heard the wobble in her voice toward the end, he kissed her forehead in reassurance.

"Izu.. do you think I'm a selfish person?..." Izuku almost jolted at the question but then relaxed and replied "no you aren't, I don't think so, our teachers, your parents, my mom, and even Kacchan doesn't think so...who  um who told you that?" Mina relaxed a little bit before answering "uraraka...she said I was keeping information from them because I'm 'selfish like that', she said I don't care about how they may feel about it and was just a bad friend in general....no one really said whether they agreed with her or not but they didn't defend me either.." izuku whispered something on the lines of 'I'll be damned if she ever says anything like that again, who the fuck does she think she is'.

Mina giggled at her boyfriends mumblings and took a deep breath to continue "they said some pretty harsh uncalled for stuff to all of us but it was mainly directed towards me." Izuku looked at his girlfriend and smiled before he whispered "do you know what tomorrow is?" She quickly looked up and grinned nodding her head. He chuckled and replied "good then you know I have lots of things planned so we need to get some rest." They both got comfortable changing clothes to go to sleep and excited for the day that will come tomorrow.

A/n: yes this took longer to get out then it was supposed to, I had writers block and couldn't think of what to do for this chapter. I couldn't figure out how to make this chapter light hearted so I just said fuck it. Tysm for over 5k reads I was freaking out when I saw that and thank for the people votoand commenting literally makes my day when I see that.
