A unexpected couple

Chapter 17

In Todoroki's almost profound opinion getting caught and taken into custody still makes him a professional detective if not it makes him a expert detective because he's a detective willing to take the ultimate risk to get the information everyone desires. So what if he's currently got two of his teachers, his principal and his father glaring at him with allegations of him trying to get ua information to bring to villains. No big deal, he told detective Tsukauchi the truth, the only reason he was trying to get the surveillance footage because of ashido and midoriya...

That clearly stumped everyone. When he was asked to eliminate all he said was "it's for my mission" as if that explains everything. They told him that midoriya and ashido were gonna be called in as well to see if they could provide a proper explanation. He didn't understand why when he just told them the reason but it's not like he had a say in who they decide to call in for questioning.

Upon Mina and Izuku's arrival they were instantly separated put into two different questioning rooms.

Tsukauchi started off with izuku seeing as he's the closest to todoroki. The green haired male sat down as the detective sighed "Aizawa and all might will be here momentarily, until then" he pressed play on the small recorder he had sitting on the table. "My name is detective Tsukauchi, my quirk is lie detector it will be activated through all questions that will be brought up. If you refuse to cooperate that is complicit fine but as you know consequences will follow." Right as he finishes aizawa and all might walk in.

"So um can someone tell me what the hell this is about, as far as I know I didn't fight and villains today so I don't know a reason I would be in trouble nor what Mina has to do with it." Izuku finally piped up eyes darting back and forth between his teacher and the detective. A part of tsukauchi wanted to laugh at what the boy said remembering the times the boy mentioned but he kept it down on the account of with the site it would be inappropriate. " One of your classmates, shoto todoroki, was brought in today upon nezu receiving information that he was bribing business course students into retrieving security footage of the teachers lounge....when asked about it he said it was because of yourself and ms ashido." He took a breath. " when asked to elaborate further he said it was his mission-"

" The fuck.. I don't know what todorokis possible little scheme is and to be quite frank I don't think he's capable of what you're accusing him of. The fact that I'm even here right now is bullshit" izuku glared at the three adults hoping they would come to their senses and realize the truth. "Young midoriya we understand your frustration and need to protect your friend but please control your language. We just need you to tell us what's going on, if you have involvement with villains we can help make this right..."

the elder heroes attempt was futile as this only pissed izuku off more. "Are you fucking serious right now!?... after all the shit class 1-a...I have been through you dare accuse me of being on their side!?. You know me better than anyone in this room all might...h-how could you" izuku slumped in his chair not even daring to look at the adults in the room. "No I don't know about anything todoroki said or why he was trying to get the footage and I don't have any connection with villains"

Aizawa and all might looked to tsukauchi "he's telling the truth...let's go to ashido so we can get them out of here"

They walked over to the room Mina was being held in seeing her quickly texting away on her phone. When she heard the door close her head snapped up looking at the three as if she was about to burst with questions. Aizawa just held his hand out as a silent gesture to be patient. Tsukauchi gave her the same run down and explanation as he did izuku.

"You know izuku and I don't know anything about this right?, I mean todoroki and some other people in our class have been acting weird lately since it came out that I was dating someone. So is it really this surprising that this is the next thing to happen" Tsukauchi's face scrunches up "what do you mean by strange?" "Tying up classmates who know that I'm dating izuku to try and get information out of them, on our anniversary they tied up present mic and midnight, it was a whole thing we had to explain to aizawa, all might and nedzu in the teacher's lounge that nigh-"

Realization hit all of them. "All of this is over them wanting to know who ashido's boyfriend is" tsukauchi gritted out. He walked out to go tell nezu and to let todoroki go. Aizawa and Mina walked out to go get izuku so they can go back to the dorms.

All might stood there he fucked up.. it wasn't until aizawa came back in and told him that it was time to go that he snapped out of it he muttered "fuckkkk"

On the way back Izuku didn't make eye contact with anyone even after they explained to him back at the station. He just stared out the window. Mina of course noticed this but she couldn't say anything with todoroki in the car. She contemplated texting him but she was sitting in between the pair she didn't want todoroki peeking over her shoulder in attempt of find the information he was so desperately seeking.

When they got back to the dorms there were only six people in the common room, momo, jirou, uraraka, kirishima, kaminari, and sero. They were up watching a movie. All their head's turned when they heard them come in. The six ran up to the three asking a lot of questions. Some were above where todoroki was and what's wrong with midoriya others were about what happened and why they got taken into custody. Todoroki just went off into the kitchen on the account of being hungry. Mina didn't really respond other than a simple "I'll explain later" when Izuku grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the elevator.  The questions ceased atop of a whole new question coming into their minds.

"The hell is up with that?"

A/n: chapter 17 as promised, high key I can't wait for the comments they never disappoint and to the people who made a bet pay up. Also I wanted to get you guy's opinion on a new story I have in mind (despite me having three unfinished ones and 14 not even started) it's going to be a fantasy au I don't think any ships simply cause I want a lot of drama and to focus more on the main plot, if  you're interested I'll explain more in the comments. last time I checked the story is at 58k reads which bis insane.
