A unexpected couple

chapter 16

In Todoroki's "professional" opinion he's the most observant in his class. So, with that being said when he sees Midoriya and Aoyama walking towards the dorms with a reusable grocery bag and a bouquet of Zinna and hydrangea flowers, he ignores it and goes about his mission. See ever since that one-night Ashido and Midoriya came to the dorms late dressed up basically matching and denying the class an explanation but giving their teachers and principal one, he's been thinking. What exactly did they talk about? why did present mic and midnight know but Aizawa, all might and Nezu don't?

So, he being the genius that he is came to the realization that there's cameras in the teachers' lounge, of course they are only there as a safety precaution, but Todoroki knew that this was his chance he could find out what was going on and maybe even find out who Ashido and Midoriya were dating. He was now on his way to the business course, for people who know their way around the game that is everything business related they have to have some type of connections with someone who can hack into the cameras.

Ok yea maybe this is a bit extreme for just trying to find out one of his closest friends significant other but on the other hand he's already tied up multiple classmates and teachers, tranquilized Kirishima and used knock out gas on Bakugo so what's a little hacking into one of the top hero school's camera systems? 

yea this totally couldn't go wrong.

While Todoroki was on his way to the business course dorms, Izuku was currently trying to get to his girlfriend's dorm, but an extremely persistent Momo and Jirou wouldn't even allow him near the elevator. The two girls dragged him off to the stair well to avoid others listening in on their conversation. Momo was on watch outside the door to make sure of that. "Jirou, you said I better have the best fucking apology ever now you aren't even allowing me to go do that" Izuku stated clearly struggling to hold back the annoyance in his tone. "Ok look I understand what you mean but it can wait just a couple more hours, when we saw her earlier, she looked exhausted we promised to not let anyone bother her while she gets some rest, that was three hours ago" instead of arguing with his purple haired classmate Izuku huffed a sigh and walk away with his stuff.  

He knew the food would get cold soon due to the drinks that was also in the bag so he did what any logical person in his situation would do. He used black whip to climb up to minas dorm. Was it hard with food and flowers in his hand? yes, yes it was. Did he do it anyway without fucking things up? also yes. Did his girlfriend look happy to see him when he knocked? That was up for debate. He noticed her sluggish state, so he spoke up first. "Hey,..can we talk?"

Mina slid the door open and hobbled back over to her bed. Once in the room Izuku sat the stuff on the desk near the corner. Izuku sat on the bed next to a tired mina who was trying to wake up some more to have the desperately needed conversation. 

"I'm so sorry mina, not just for what happened during the fight Iida for not trying harder to enforce the boundaries with Uraraka and not dispelling the comments made by peers in other classes, I should've done better to at least mention I was in a relationship or-" "I appreciate the apology Izuku but you did nothing wrong, I know you were just trying to protect me during the fight you just didn't project it correctly I took it the wrong way and made a big deal out of it" mina let out a hefty sigh and flopped back onto the bed. " As far as the Uraraka and other classes, I just got caught up with the things being said, I know at the end of the day I'm the one you come back to" 

Mina sat up and turned to her boyfriend who looked like he was about to retaliate to what she just said but she perked up and remembered that he didn't come empty handed. "Say, 'zuku what's in the bag you brought?" Izuku's eyes shifted over to the bag sitting on top of the desk in the corner. He stared at it dumbly as if he forgot he even brought the items. "Oh, I asked my mom to make you some okra and there's some drinks along with some movies in there"

Mina practically jumped up at the mentioning of her favorite food made by one of her favorite cooks. "Oh my god remind me to text her thank you" after those words' mina grabbed the food along with a movie to pop into her laptop.

The couple spent the next three hours watching movies until there was harsh quick knocks coming from the door. The pair froze for a moment before mina spoke up asking who it was. It was Bakugo, so Izuku got up and opened the door. " Nerd, pinky you guys made up cool... but does either of you want to explain why the hell there's cop's downstairs asking for you both?!"

The couple stayed silent. Both sharing looks of confusion and in horror. "Judging by the looks on your faces I'm going for you don't know, the extras are downstairs asking them a shit load of questions we should head down now." The couple quickly started shuffling out the door nervousness painted all across their faces. Izuku was going through his step from today making sure he didn't stop and fight a villain again on the way back to the dorms and forgot about it. Mina on the other hand was more worried that this would affect them graduating.

As they got downstairs sure enough there was two cops there looking as calm as day despite the group of students asking them questions but one of them caught sight of the trio exiting the elevator, so he spoke up "are you two Izuku Midoriya and Mina Ashido?" They both nodded.

"Well, we need you both down at the station for questioning your teacher is already there we'll explain on the way."

A/n: summer school sucks ass. But anyway, I wanted to bring back more unnecessary but necessary Todoroki things so here we are. sorry for the chapter being Hella short I just wanted to cover more in the next chapter so yk sacrifices. I think this is the first time I updated twice in one-month that's a plus an ig ok I'm out of things to say Cya
