Y/N POV

I heard his voice speak for the first time, it's much softer than I expected. I saw his shoes as I was looking down. "A-are you okay?" He asks hesitant. "Yes I am." I mumbled softly. "I'm sorry I didn't get that, could you repeat it? I'm just worried, I bumped into you like that. I don't want you to be in pain." I slowly trail my eyes up as I lifted my head. I still didn't look at his face. "I'm alright." I bite my lip nervously. "Well I'm sorry."

"What for?" I ask confused. Did I really speak up as I just could've left him already? "For bumping into you like that. I should be more attentive of my surroundings. I guess I was a little too into my music. It's like I'm in another world whenever I have music playing. But I'm over sharing aren't I. I'm sorry." He chuckles. "But are you really okay?" He asks again. I nod my head. "Why'd you keep asking me that?" I ask. "Because it's as if you're avoiding me. Do I know you and you secretly hate me so you don't want to face me?"

"What? No. I- I should go." I excuse myself and walk away from the stranger. I speed walk to the library. "Good afternoon y/n. How are you today?" The librarian smiles at me. "I can do better. Here's the book back." I take it out of my bag. "Do you also have your card?" She asks me. "Of course my card. Where did I leave it?" I start looking through my bag to find my wallet. "It's gone. My wallet, I lost it. Probably when that man bumped into me." I panicked.

"Y/n calm down. Don't panic, do your breathing exercises." She reminds me. I breathe in and out with her. "Thanks. But I think I lost my wallet. All my cards and money, it's all in there." I say. "It's probably just at home. Look I know you it's alright, the book is back go find something else you like. Read for a while and when it's time I'll keep it here at my desk and tomorrow you can come back with your card so you can borrow the books you want." She explains. "You want to do that for me?"

"Of course, now go live your world in the books." I smile. "Thank you." I walk through the many bookshelves to find one I haven't read before. I was looking at the lower shelves as I suddenly noticed a green leaf on the ground. Where did that came from? I shrug it off and continue searching a book. I found another leave on the floor. I look behind me and see a trial of leaves. It's as if it follows me. I unzipped my sweater and suddenly see a flower growing. "What is this?" I questioned. I plucked it and immediately a new one grew on the same spot. What's going on?

There must be a book about it. Maybe some myths. I go to the isle with books about myths and creatures. I take one out and start reading it. I noticed a new flower growing. I found something saying about when your soulmate looks at you there will grow flowers at your heart. And once you look back at them they will have the same flower growing on them. You'll lose leafs when you haven't immediately found each other and don't get in touch, these leads will be green.

This is what happened to me. But who? I look at the librarian, she seems perfectly normal. It's not her. Maybe someone else in this library. I look around but it was empty. Who could it be? The doors suddenly open. "Good afternoon sir, what can I help you with?" She asks the person. "Someone lost their wallet and I found a library card in it. I thought I could find her here." It's the same voice as the man from earlier. "Is there anyone here with the name y/l/n y/n?" He asks. "Over there." I hear footsteps getting closer.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but I guess this belongs to you." He placed the wallet on the table. "Thank you." I say, taking it back. "What are you reading?" He asks me. "Are you actually interested in books or is it just to be polite?" I ask. "I'm actually interested." He tells me. I look up, for the first time I see his face, if someone told me he was some sort of god or angel I'd believe that person. He looks unrealistically beautiful. I then noticed something. "Uh. You- you have something, well there's something on your shirt." I point out.

"A daisy? Huh I haven't been near any flowers or fields today." He says confused. I looked at the flower I picked from my heart earlier. I gulp as I realised. "You were interested in what I was reading?" I ask. "Oh yes. What is it about." I turn the book to him. "Read it yourself." I tell him. He softly laughs. "What's this? As if it would really happ- you've got a... oh wow it's real? You got a daisy on your heart? And I do too?" He blinks a few times. "I never thought something like soulmates existed." He tells me.

"I didn't think so either." I tell him. "Then I guess we are meant to be." He smiles. "I'm Ten nice to meet you." I shake his hand. "Y/n." I tell him my name. "You're a little shy aren't you?" He asks me and I nod in response. "It's alright, I think that's cute. But you can be perfectly yourself around me, I don't judge anyone." He tells me. "Thanks." I smile at him. "We should go out some time." He suddenly says. "What if we both borrow a book and go read at some cafe with some coffee or tea?" He asks me. "That sounds amazing."
