Y/N POV

We arrived. I quickly get out of the car and take my luggage out of the trunk. "Y/n don't go so fast, you might hurt yourself." Jaemin warns me. "But look at that!" I point at the beach house. "It's gigantic and beautiful and so close to the beach! I can't believe we're staying here for the next 2 weeks!" I say excited. "I'm glad you like it." He smiles at me. "Like it? It's fantastic! Thanks for arranging this holiday for us." I hug him. "Everything for my angel." He kisses my forehead.

I go up the stairs which lead to the balcony. "I can see the ocean from here! We could watch the sunset later!" Jaemin laughs at my excitement. There were big glass doors that connected the balcony with the living room. "Here you may enter first." He hands me the keys. I carefully take the keys and unlock the door, it slides open and we enter. "The front door is on the other side which is easier for when we want to go grocery shopping or just get to town." Jaemin explains.

"I don't have to go to town when I have this." I say looking out the window at the waves. "You really love the beach and the ocean right?" He asks me. "How dare you still ask such things, of course I do! It's way better than the busy cities with grumpy business men. I rather stay here and be one with the ocean as I go surfing." I explain. "We can go surfing tomorrow. Right now let's just find our way in this house and go to the town to find some food." Jaemin tells me. "You're lame. There's probably some bar at the beach that also sells food. These 2 weeks I'll live like a true beach girl." I smile.

"As long as you know it's for just these 2 weeks. I'll put my luggage in the bedroom and I'll go do some groceries, you need anything?" He asks me. "Nah I'll be fine." I tell him. "Okay, stay here okay I won't take long." He tells me before taking his keys and leaving through the front door. I look through the house, finding the kitchen, the bathroom, the 2 guest bedrooms and the master bedroom. In the hallway there was a family picture from the people Jaemin rented this place from, the people looking very familiar to me but I couldn't point it out.

I take a glass and fill it with some water, I go back to the balcony and sit on one of the chairs as I look out at the beach. People were sunbathing, playing around or having a swim in the water. I can't wait to dip in myself. "I'm back! Y/n? Oh here you are, can you help put the groceries away?" Jaemin asks. "Sure." I get up and go help him. "I saw a family picture in the hallway, do you know them?" I ask.

"Not really. I just found out that they rented this place for a few weeks so I took the chance." He tells me. "Why? Do you know them?" He asks me. "They look familiar to me but I wouldn't know. It does look like an old picture though." I say. "Yes, I guess it must've been there for a long time." He giggles. "Jaemin." He looks at me. "Yes?" He asks me. "Will I ever find my family back? Will I ever be close to them again like that family in that picture?"

"Maybe, I hope so. You deserve to find your family back. But until then know that my family is just as much as your family. And I love you so so much." He kisses me. "Look I got all ingredients for tacos because I know you love them so much, we could eat them while watching the sunset later." He changes the topic. "Sounds great!" I smiled at him. And just like he said we ate tacos at sunset. It was so pretty. Just me and Jaemin alone at this beach house.

"That was amazing!" I smile. "What was? You being a pro or me falling off the board all the time?" Jaemin asks making me laugh some more. "Both, but it was great being in the water again." I take my towel and dry my hair a little. "Let's go back to eat something." Jaemin tells me. We take our surfboards and go back to the house. "J-Jae um t-there's someone a-at the h-house." I point at the strange figures. "Hey! Who are you and why are you here! O-Oh sorry." He quickly apologises once the 2 had turned around, they were the people from the family picture, the owners.

"Sorry for being here while you rented this place but my husband forgot something important so he came to pick it up real quick, we should've warned you beforehand." The woman says. "No it's alright." Jaemin says with a polite smile. We place our surfboards aside and waited outside. "Excuse me but do we know each other? You look very familiar to me." The woman asks me. "I had the same when I saw that family picture in the hallway but I don't remember meeting you or your family before I'm sorry." I tell her. "It's alright. It's just you remind me so much of my own daughter, sadly she ran away one day and never returned, no one has found her ever since." The woman explains. "We're so sorry to hear that ma'am." Jaemin says. "So I got my laptop we can... Oh hello, you're probably the couple that rented this place." The man smiles. "Yes we are." Jaemin keeps on smiling. "Come on sweetheart, we don't want to ruin their vacation. Have a nice stay." They left again. "Fluffy." Jaemin turns to me. "Yes angel?" He looks at me.

"I think I'm their lost daughter." I say. "What? Why'd you think so?" He asks me. "Like they said the daughter ran away and never came back. All I remember was me trying to get a ride from someone to the city and then ending up in a car crash. I might be the daughter who ran away! I don't remember anything from my past but I do know they're familiar and that woman even said I remind her of their daughter!" I say. "Their daughter was like 14 or so in that family picture, you're 20." Jaemin says.

"How long ago did that car crash happened? 6 years ago. I'm just saying." He sighs. "You really think you might be their daughter?" He asks. "Maybe, there's a chance. But could you imagine if they really are my family then I can be with them again, and I'd even have a brother!" Seeing Jaemin's face expressions he didn't seem as happy as me. "If and only if they are, are you really willing to stay with them? Are you leaving me, the city, our home, our work and our friends?" He asks. "I could never leave you, maybe you could come and live here with me." I smile.

"No, I mean I know you love it here and all but I can't leave the city to permanently live here." I sigh. "We can find a way to make it work." I say. "Like come here on our free days and holidays but in the week we're in the city." I say. "You don't even know if they're really your family or not." He tells me. "You're right. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I'll stop talking about it and we'll just enjoy the rest of our vacation." I say giving a kiss on his cheeks.
