Isaac: Is this a booty call?

"Marley?" Isaac whispered as he climbed through his friends window. He looked around until he saw her in the corner of her room, lacrosse stick firmly in her hands. "What the hell?"
"Over there. Take it outside," Marley said, pointing her finger to her bed. Isaac frowned and looked over, seeing a clear glass placed in the centre of her bed.
"What the hell is it?" Isaac asked. He walked over to the bed and reached for the cup, but Marley speed forward and grabbed his hand before he could touch it.
"No! Don't move the cup," Marley said, and Isaac had never seen such a scared look on her face. "There's a massive spider in it."
A beat passed. Isaac let out the heartiest laugh from his chest and dropped his head. He thought Marley was the most fearless person he knew, since she would break the rules often, but now she was panicking over a bug. "A spider?" Isaac laughed.
"Yes! And it's not funny," Marley whined. "Please just take it outside."
"This is absolutely hilarious," Isaac said through giggles, holding his aching chest. Marley thumped his shoulder with the back of her hand.
"Isaac!"
"Okay, okay. I'm doing it," Isaac said, raising his hands to surrender. He moved over to Marley's desk and pulled a sheet of paper from it. Gently, he slid the paper under the cup, glancing at the 'massive' spider. Marley might have exaggerated a little. He walked over to the window and pulled the cup and paper apart, the spider sliding off it and onto the ground bellow. Marley pulled her window down milliseconds after Isaac brought his hands back in, closing it with a loud bang. "There, you're okay now."
"Jesus, I think I shat myself," Marley sighed, falling down onto her bed. Isaac laid down next to her and they both looked up to the ceiling. "You're my knight in plaid pyjamas."
"I can't believe you called me over to get rid of a spider," Isaac said, resting his hands on his stomach.
"I had to, it was huge," Marley said.
"No, it wasn't," Isaac laughed. Marley shook her head and smirked. She knew that it wasn't that big, but spiders were the one thing she couldn't stand. There wasn't much Marley was scared of, but spiders made the top of her list.
"Can we just talk about your reply to my text? Is this a booty call?" Marley quoted.
"It sounded like you were super horny or something," Isaac laughed. "But I was not expecting the spider."
"How come you were awake? It's past midnight," Marley asked, closing her tired eyes for just a second. She waited for his response, which took longer to form.
"My dad, he was just walking around downstairs looking for alcohol. He was just really loud," Isaac said softly. Marley turned her head to look at the boy. He had his eyes closed, a plain look on his face.
"Do you want to stay here tonight?" Marley asked. Isaac nodded slowly, his eyes still shut. She turned her head back to the ceiling and closed her eyes again. "You can stay here every night if you want."
"I'd like that," Isaac said, his voice tired and low. Marley tucked her knees into her chest and turned to the side. She sighed and relaxed her whole body, Isaac seeming doing the same.
"Me too," Marley whispered. Moments later, they fell asleep.

I've been planning my next book all day and barely got time to write it get inspiration for that matter. I just thought of the texting bit and had no idea what to do after, so sorry it's shit. Doesn't even make 1000 words -_-
It would be a good idea to emotionally prepare for the next chapter.
