"Hey, Boyfriend?" Girlfriend asked him one morning.
"Yeah?" Boyfriend replied.
"Have you ever been in a relationship before?" She asked. "I mean, I've been jealous about seeing you with other girls, but none of them have actually liked you." Boyfriend chuckled in embarrassment.
"Actually, yes." He said.
"R-really?!" Girlfriend asked in disbelief. She seemed disappointed.
"What's wrong?" Boyfriend asked.
"I thought I was your first..." She whined.
"We aren't dating, though." Boyfriend said. Girlfriend folded her arms.
"We might as well be. I cook for you. We live in the same house. I wash our clothes." She said.
"That's cause you agreed to be my maid." Boyfriend said.
"How would you explain letting me sleep in your bed, then?" Girlfriend retorted. Boyfriend's cheeks turned a pink color.
"That's because, uh... It just... Gets cold sometimes." He stuttered. A sly smile formed on Girlfriend's face and she cuddled up to Boyfriend.
"I can provide you warmth any time you want." She said, flirting with him.
"Cut that out." Boyfriend muttered, his face getting pinker. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"That must be Carol. I'll get it." Girlfriend said. She walked to the door and opened it to reveal a tall, rather attractive young woman with long, brown hair, a white tank top, black shorts, dark brown stockings, and black high heels at the door. "Uh... Who are you?" She asked. Instead of answering her, the young woman just stared Girlfriend up and down.
"I didn't think he'd move on so quickly..." She said after a while.
"Huh?" Girlfriend asked. The girl sighed and pushed past her.
"Yo! Boyfriend!" She called. Girlfriend just stood in the doorway, shocked.
"Did this human girl just..." She thought. Girlfriend followed the girl into the living room, ready to blast someone to another dimension. Boyfriend could recognize that voice from anywhere. He felt as if his worst nightmare was coming true.
"Uh... Yes, Ayana?" He asked with nervousness in his voice.
"S'up?" Ayana asked.
"Why are you here?" Boyfriend asked.
"Got bored. Started thinking of you." Ayana said.
"Oh, well..." Boyfriend began, noticing Girlfriend's bloodshot eyes. "Maybe we could talk later? Because..." He pointed at Girlfriend. Ayana looked behind her.
"I won't repeat myself." Girlfriend said in a threatening tone. "Who are you?" She asked. Ayana chuckled.
"What, are you trying to scare me? That's cute. I'm Ayana, by the way." She said.
"By, 'started thinking of you,' did you mean..." Girlfriend began to ask her.
"Maybe." Ayana said with a sly smile on her face.
"In that case..." Girlfriend began, getting out her wings, horns and tail. "Battle me!" She demanded.
Boyfriend got in between the two before anything happened.
"Girlfriend, she's a human, remember? You'd kill her!" He whisper-yelled to her.
"Whoever wins takes Boyfriend out tonight." Ayana said.
"Er... Maybe there's another way you can challenge her." Boyfriend said after finding out the catch.
"What other way can I fight for you that isn't battle?" Girlfriend asked.
"One thing me and Ayana used to do is rap battle each other for fun using a karaoke machine." Boyfriend said. He then set up some speakers, got both the girls some microphones, and sat on the speaker in the middle to monetize the fight. "It's been years since I did this, so I'd be better off just watching." He said.
"Okay..." Girlfriend said. With that, she and her new rival began the battle. To Ayana's surprise Girlfriend won, and she had to leave, apologizing for dropping by so suddenly. For someone who never picked up a microphone in her life, Girlfriend did well, or even better, than Ayana. Boyfriend guessed it had to be because she couldn't let anybody else have him. And by now, he was fine with that.
