[Bright POV]
It's been two years since that incident, this year Hin also going to University. He chose medical with Krist.
Krist is already in the third year in Engineering but he drops out because he said Singto, my friend is annoying he doesn't want to face him but they don't stop talking to each other, hang out, eat dinner together. Don't know what is that annoyed he had said.
Today is their first day so four of us, Off, Singto, Tay, me going to see them. Off already start working for their company, Singto too. For me I don't want to start working so I just help my Dad. As for Tay, he works in Mr Foei company but not as a worker but as like a helper, it complicated.
"Tay, how are you? Are you not feeling well?"
"No, I'm fine. It's just tired" he smiles as he said.
He is always like this. He rarely expresses his feelings, his problems but we know he is already hurt enough.
"You don't have to come with us if you are tired," Singto said.
"No, I'm okay. And also I want to see Off's wife" he said as he laughs with Singto starting at me.
"You too" I shake my head which makes a group laugh.
"You are allowed to see him but not allowed to touch and like him," Off said which earn a punch from me.
"Okay, Win also study here so it's a big chance to come," he said after laughing. I know Win is his brother but I didn't meet him in person.
"Umm I almost forgot, Dad said If you don't want to work in there, you are always welcome in ours. And you know he already reserves a position for you so cone tomorrow, okay?" Off said he is the one who knows Tay the most.
"I think it's a great idea, Tay. If you work there you will at least stop asking for money from your mother. Now Win is also grown up, Mother can't always give you money," Singto added.
"Seriously, Tay why did Mr Foei not giving your pay? And why did you work like that? " I always wanted to ask this but I can't able to.
"Thank you guys but I'm alright and also I'm enjoying working in there. So tell Dad that I'm fine" he smiles after saying.
I wonder how can he always smile. Tell you a story, one day that boy, James who cause trouble with Hin, is his boyfriend but I don't think it's real, come to see him but saw a woman who approached Tay and he started beating Tay in front of many teachers and students. What more surprising is that Tay didn't fight back. If Off couldn't stop him, I don't think Tay will alive. But when we asked him how is he, he still smiles as if nothing happened. To be honest, four of us is one of the most popular guys in the entire University so it's normal for girls, boys, teachers to approach us.
"Okay if you said so. But if you change your mind, you are always welcome, okay?"
"By the way, Tay Mama said she wanted to meet your mother. If she is free tomorrow, Mama said she is want to meet her" I said remembering my mama word.
"Where shall they meet, I'll..... I'll..." he looks embarrassed and I also know why. He goes to work at 8:00 am and back at 8:30 pm without paying. He didn't have any day off not even at the weekend.
"It's okay. Mama and Aunty will come to your house. Don't worry about your house conditions, they won't laugh at it. If you see my Dad living place in his youth age you will surely....ah forget it. They just want to ask your mother to join in their..."
"Guys you...."
"No, we are not. My aunty Sanrak is your mother friend so she talks about her to my Mama and Aunty May so they want to help them" I need to clarify or else he will.....
"Alright, I'll ask my Mom and text you later, okay?"
"New," "Krist" Off and Singto shouted earning many eyes, we already earned a lot of.
The two look at us with shock but when we look in their direction, it is no wonder that someone is sitting with them.
"Win, that Win, my brother you two don't need to worry. He already has someone he likes" he said as he smiles at me. Why is he smiled like this at me?
I think these three will become a troublesome trio, they don't even notice us. We walk towards them.
"Hin, Hin" I pat his shoulder.
He startles and looks at me with a scary face but soon smiles when he knows it's me. 'He startled... Oh, this won't be a small prank... Ah whoever they are going to, I pity that person. Rest in peace
"Who are you going to prank?" I smile to see his reaction.
"Ohh P'Bright, it's a Professor, what his name? Ah...Professor Gunsmile because he is so funny. Do you want to join P'Off, it will be fun."
He smiles and looks toward Tay who talk with his brother. He frowns and slowly sits up. At that time Tay also lookup he has the same reaction.
"Pete" "Kao" Hin stood still and Tay runs towards and hugs him. We all look at them, nobody talks.
What's the situation? Do they know each other? But what I wonder about is Pete and Kao, these are Dad and Uncle June friends that died in an accident.
"You bad guy, you don't come to look for me. You said you would come and look for me but you don't. I wait so long for you to come but you never come. I thought you already have someone, you bad guy. I hate you," Hin said and start punching at Tay's chest. And Tay doesn't complain but hug Hin even tighter.
"I'm sorry Kao. I truly am. Life is hard for me. Can you please forgive me? I love you. I still love you a lot" Tay said but don't let go of the hug. It seems he hug Hin even tighter. I look at Off reaction, he looks at me with shock.
"No, I wil..." He was interrupted by a tiny guy who broke the hug which caused Hin to fall. I run toward him and help him up.
"Kao" Tay tried to run towards Hin but that tiny guy held his hand to stop and shouted at Hin.
"What are you doing? He has already a boyfriend. And you! How dare you cheat on my lil brother! I'll call him" this tiny guy points his finger at Tay as he speaks as if he is a boss.
"Pete, you....."
