[Ayana]

I am the only one from Filipino trainee to be attending school because all of them chose to drop out. Shen eonni woke me up earlier, three hours before my first class started.

"Yah, Aya! Prepare yourself now. Your service will be here in thirty minutes. Hurry up, kiddo!" Via eonni said.

I got up from my comfortable seat and got inside the bathroom to take a half bath. It's freaking autumn here and you expect me to take a long fresh shower. Nah, not gonna happen. It's so cold.

I went out of my service and walked straight up to my class. I have a piece of paper with me where my schedules are written, also where I should go in every class.

My uniform. It is really a dream come true. I am wearing a SoPa Uniform. The mustard yellow blazer fits so perfectly onto my skin. But it is not visible because I am wearing a white padded jacket to protect my body from coldness.

I walked inside the classroom and all the students turned their heads in my direction. I bowed as giving respect before settling myself on the chair at the end row. Five minutes later, our teacher arrived.

"Good morning students," she greeted and placed her belongings on the teachers' table in front. "We have a new student here. Please stand up and introduce yourself,"

I stood up but before I could even say anything, the classroom's door burst open revealing the possible cause of my heart attack.

Holy moly! Am I classmates with the one and only Nishimura Riki?

"Joeseonghabnida," (I'm sorry,) he bowed and went to his seat. I almost jumped on my track when the seat beside me made it sound.

We're not just classmates. We are freaking seatmates too!

"Where are we again? Oh right, go ahead," she smiled at me.

"Yeoreobun, annyeonghaseyo! Ayana Lim-imnida," (Hello everyone! I'm Ayana Lim,) I lowered my head before going back to my seat again.

I can feel my seatmate's gaze on me but I just ignored it. Maybe he knows me?

"Ah, annyeong. I'm Ni-ki," I held my pen tightly as I saw his hand reaching to my side.

Don't squeal, Aya. Do not freaking squeal.

"H-hi? Uhm, I'm Ayana," I smiled and held his hand.

I felt my heart just skip a beat when his hand touches mine. I calmed myself and listened again to what our teacher's discussing.

"Aya? Can we... uhm, can we have lunch together later?" my eyes grew bigger.

Did he just ask me to have lunch with him? No way!

"E e, tashikani nazedesu ka?" (Yeah sure, why not?) I said in japanese.

The smile that drew on his lips could not escape my sight as his narrowed eyes narrowed even more after I answered in the language he grew up in.

"Nihongo ga hanasemasu ka?" (You can speak japanese?) he asked, as if he didn't hear me earlier.

"Hai!" (Yes!) I chirped. He smiled at me before nodding his head.

"It's basically because of you though. When I saw you on I-Land, I told myself that I will learn Japanese in case our path will cross," I laughed at my own thought.
