I opened the door, and greeted him, but he leaned in to kiss me.
"Well.. thanks for kissing me?" I said while laughing. "Hold on , I will put on some makeup. I will be back in a minute."
Right as I started walking upstairs, he pulled me aside.
"You are beautiful without makeup Victoria don't worry about putting any on. Just grab a shirt." He said.
I loved his heavy Australian accent. His voice was so deep, and those bright blue eyes were to die for.
We hopped into the car, as I turned on the radio and annoyed him by singing the whole time. It took about five minutes to get there.
We walked into Scooters with our hands laced together. Even though we weren't dating, it just seemed so right. He was comforting, and such a gentleman.
I ordered a boring old vanilla milkshake, yet he picked a bunch of flavors mixed together. I didn't know anyone that could mix flavors like that and get them to taste good.
We shared our ice cream and I brought something up.
"Even though you haven't known me for long, do you.. l-love me?" I asked.
He started at me blankly for a minute. He looked at me and grabbed my hand and said "why would I not love you? You are perfect."
No one had said any words like that to me in a while. I felt so touched inside.
After all the bullying from previous years, no one was nice to me. Luke started giving me these notes, and suddenly I was better. I was happy for once, and I was excited to go to school.
We were all done and then we walked back outside. I got into the car, and so did he. It was a short and silent drive, mostly because I was looking at him with no words.
"So, Victoria, what do you think if we go find you a dress. It is all on me." He said breaking the silence.
I happily agreed, said we would go tomorrow since it was getting late.
It was nearing 8:00, and he decided to rent a movie on Amazon. We were cuddling on the couch for a while, and I walked upstairs heading for my room until he stopped me and wrapped his arms around my small waist.
"I want to be with you for forever Victoria." He said. I just loved the way he said my name. He made it seem like it just rolls off his tongue.
I rested my head on his shoulder staying in a tight hug for a minute. He broke away, following me to my room. I layed down on my bed, and fell asleep in his arms.
So this it what it feels like to be loved.
I will cherish this feeling forever.
