I was stunned by everything that happened that day. I was really happy with the outcome, and I have never had a night like that.

I was tired, and I had slept in until about ten thirty. That was a record for me, because I am normally a morning person. I thought that a good breakfast would be beneficial. As I roamed down the stairs slowly, I made my way down to the kitchen.

There was a note on the counter, and the only person it would really be from is my mom or Luke. When I saw the scribbled handwriting, I knew it was only from Luke.

I am going to be gone for most of the day, so have a good day xx

I was confused, because he did not tell me what he was up to. I brushed it off, and didn't bother to think about it.

I grabbed my phone, and turned on one of my favorite songs, Long Way Home, by the one and only 5 Seconds of Summer.

I grabbed my waffle maker, got the mix out. I was pretty much occupied until I heard the door open. I really, really wanted it to be Luke, but it was one of my best friends, Payton.

"Hey girl! What are ya up to right now? Wanna go shopping? I am really happy today sorry.." She was basically bouncing off the walls, and that was normal for her. I have never seen her sad.

"Well, I am kind of worrying but as you can see I am making a waffle. Want one?" I said with an inviting gesture.

She nodded, and took a seat at the bar on our counter. I had spread some plates out, and then finished the waffles.

"So, why are you so happy? I mean really, you are happy about everything all the time. Give me the reason."

"Well... I have found a way to start hanging out with Calum. I think he will like me!" She said excitedly.

Payton was very pretty, and she had a wonderful outgoing personality. I was surprised if Calum would even want to engage in conversation with her.

"So what is your plan, Mrs. Hood?" I said.

"First of all, I am not his wife, not yet anyway. Anywho, I have been thinking that if you hang out with Luke and have him bring the other boys, I can meet him! Wonderful plan, huh? "

She actually had a great plan worked out. I really wanted to help her today, but I knew that Luke wasn't here for whatever reason.

"So where is Luke? He is like always next to your side." She exclaimed.

I tried my best explaining how he has been acting the last couple of days. We haven't been as close as we normally are.

Payton left a little while after, accepting that I didn't want to really do anything with her today. I might just go roam around myself.

I picked up my phone and dialed Luke's number. He didn't answer. He always answers.

I called three more times. No answer.

I shook it off once again, and walked up the stairs to go get a shower.

I just stood in there letting the warm water run down my body. I heard my ring tone, and he was trying to call me. Even though my phone was able to be used in the water, I couldn't answer it. It was in my room.

A few minutes later I got my towel and wrapped it around my body. I quickly picked up my phone, and listened to the voice mail.

"Hey, it is me Lukey. I am with the boys, sorry to worry you. I will be back soon. Love ya"

But whenever he paused in the voice mail, I sworn I had heard a girl giggling in the background. Psh, it could have been his TV. I just needed to stop thinking about it. I got dressed, and dried my hair. I grabbed my keys, and rushed out the door.

There was one place that he goes to all the time whenever he says he is somewhere that I don't know about. The local coffee shop. I had arrived, and saw his car. I automatically knew he was here.

I walked in, and I was relieved to see him. I wanted to go up and give him a hug, only to notice that he was sitting next to someone else. It was a very pretty blonde, and I really hoped it wasn't what I thought. Was he on a date, with someone else? Cheating on me?

He looked at me and smiled, and then I started to tear up.

"You never told me you were going to be here, with another girl!" I said as I gradually got louder.

"I can explain, believe me it is not what you think Victoria. Please wait a minute!" He said as I walked out.

I sat in my car for a minute and thought about everything. At prom, he was sort of avoiding me. Today, he had left without telling. I am really mad at him at the moment.
