So, it is my birthday. I am thrilled, sorta.

I am actually having a party tonight, and I am so not sad that I didn't stay at the party last night.

I slipped on my sandals, and then grabbed my car keys. I was out the door. As I was driving, I saw Payton walking from the bus stop to her house.

"Hey, why are you at the bus stop? You have your own car, right?" I asked.

"Well, first off, Happy Birthday. Second, I am grounded from my car for the next week because I wasn't home by one." She said as she ran her hands through her long hair.

"I can drive you to school silly, get in!"

We were driving as she kept talking and talking and talking. I wanted to push her out of the car for that, but I am a nice person.

We got to school, and everyone is surrounding me with "Happy Birthday" and "have a nice day" and all that stuff.

I get annoyed so easily, and it isn't even funny.

But Luke, of all people thinks it is funny.

I took the note that I had written this morning (In the previous chapter), and slipped it in while he hadn't arrived yet.

He had gotten in and saw me sitting on the bench in the hall, and sat next to me. A kiss was planted on my cheek followed by "Good morning Birthday Girl". I smiled and he walked away.

I don't even know why I still do this with him. It is just plain old odd.

But, I still love him.

No one can stop me.

It all started with that little note.

And I fell for him hard. Really hard.

Luke Robert Hemmings.
