As the blonde girl twisted her keys into her apartment door she felt the cool air from the air-con rush out the door. She hung up her car keys and and strolled to the kitchen and took out a packet of instant noodles.
After the microwave beeped to signal her noodles were finished she grabbed the hot bowl and her phone off the counter and flopped onto the grey couch. The blonde turned on the flat screen tv and started watching her favourite show, brooklyn nine-nine.
Half way through her bowl of spicy noodles her phone dinged twice. One message from her good friend Chilly and one from her sister Bailey.
"Girls shopping trip tomorrow?? xx"
Bailey's message read.
"Hey Lee i have two vouchers for this new restaurant in centeral London. Fancy lunch tomorrow? x"
Ben's message said.
A smile spread across the girls face when she read Ben's message. She replied right away.
" hey ben ofc i would love too! x"
"okay great! i'll pick you up at 2 tomorrow x"
The blondes face was soon took over bye a wide grin because she would finally have some alone time with her best friend.
"sorry bailey i have plans with Ben tomorrow"
"okay i'm coming over tomorrow to help u get ready!"
"okay i'll see u at 12 !"
After a few more episodes of netflix the girl fell asleep on her couch with the tv still playing in the background.
The 12 hours of the night flew past when the blonde girl was woken up by the ferocious knocking on her apartment door. She picked up her phone to see the time was 12:37.
"shit!"
She got up and ran to the door and opened it to see her best friend stood there with a superdrug drug full of new makeup to paint her face with.
