as the blonde girl twisted her keys into the hotel room of saint georges park, she felt a tight grip around her waistline. she jumped round quickly to see who it was and was met with the gleaming smile of her boyfriend.

"hello you.."
"how was training today?"

the boy yawned whilst following the girl into her room.

"good. everyone was so nice to me"
"i'm so happy we are here together!"

the girl sighed unconvincingly.

"hey what's wrong"

the tall left back asked his girlfriend as he planted his hand on her lower chin to lift her face, facing his.

"i just wish my dad was here to watch me and dec out there togther.."

a single tear rolled down the girls face and she was brought into the warm embrace of her tall boyfriend. she could have sworn that man cured anything and everything.

"shall we go down for food?"
"yeah"

the pair of footballers put their shoes on and made their way down to the cafeteria where most of the england squad were already eating. it was dark and raining outside and the whole place was mainly windows so the vibe of the food hall was amazing. the couple walked down the stairs hand in hand and was met by a energised kyle walker.

"hey love birds! time for some food?"

every time she met kyle she could swear he was on something illegal.

finally the whole england squad was sat down each on their on seat, eating the freshly cooked pesto pasta the amazing cook Jane, had made.

"could i have everyone's attention please."

Gareth southgate was stood at the front of all the tables with a glass of champagne in his right hand and and an envelope in the other.

"so as we all know we have another member of the rice family joining the squad for this summer. i'd like to welcome leah to the team!"

everyone applauded the blonde and she felt herself going red in the face. Gareth's speech didn't last long but at the end he called over the blonde into a spare room in the side.

"this came earlier whilst you were training. it's for you"

the gaffa handed the girl a white envelope with her name written on it. she instantly recognised the handwriting because it used all capitals. she opened it and pulled out a letter.
