ANGELO POV:

I don't know what's wrong with me, I just can't sleep. Everytime I try to rest the past haunts me like a ghost and the fact that Victor and my sisters are suffering the consequences of my actions is killing me from inside out.

Yes, it all started because of me. I forced Victor to take me to the park. Unable to leave our sisters behind alone, he brought them to the park with us.

That's when the kidnappers showed up and took our sisters. Victor tried to protect them but failed because of their strength.

And me what did I do? I hid myself in a corner like a coward while Victor was fighting alone.

If only I should've helped him, our sisters would've never got kidnapped and scarred for life and Victor he shouldn't have been abandoned and become a Monster. It's all my fault but being a coward I never told my family about me being there and victor he never took my name even after suffering for my mess.

I cried and cried for what it felt like hours. I just needed some air to breathe and that's when I found Iris trying to get into Victor's room.

I was scared that Victor will hurt her as he became a cold-hearted killer. But to my surprise when Iris defended him and informed about her meet with Victor earlier I was shell-shocked.

I felt happy that my elder brother who was a loving and caring personality is still alive under the rock-heart.

Unable to control my excitement I hugged Iris tightly and sent her in. But I wanted to listen to their conversation so before the door got locked I placed my foot in order to unlock the door.

I was happy watching victor smile and tease Iris. My eyes were tearing up because of the lovely scene infront of me. He smiled after 10 fucking years he finally smiled.

When I heard Iris asking about his past I was scared that he'll burst into anger but to my surprise he cried and said that she'll hate him after knowing the fact.

My eyes widened at his revelation, he was scared that Iris will hate him and leave him.

Of course, after being hated and abandoned by your own family what do you expect then...

But Iris being Iris consoled him and promised him that neither she will hate him nor she'll leave him in a million years.

I was shocked by her words, according to her it's just only the second time Iris met victor, but the bond between them was unbreakable I can sense that.

Even though she's not our biological sister she loved him, cared for him, consoled him, treated him like her child and made victor break his walls for her. She indeed was amazing and our lucky charm.

When I first learnt about Iris I was not sure about her but the way she acted towards carlos cleared all of my hesitations.

Carlos never opened up with anyone even with us and his own brothers. But the way he treated Iris made me trust her.

After Victor explaining the whole story excluding my part to Iris there was a moment of silence and victor looked down nervously.

I thought Iris will blame him for being reckless but what she did melted my heart.

She didn't say anything at first and there was this awkward silence as she stared him for a moment with unreadable emotions.

But when Iris lifted his chin and kissed his forehead that awkward silence turned into a comfortable one.

"It's not your fault Viki", Those words emerged from her mouth broke down every single wall victor built for himself and he bursted into tears while Iris hugged him tightly.
