THE ANNOUNCEMENTS

ALARIC'S POV:

The recent situations have taken a huge toll on me and my wife's reputation. "The Clowns of the Town" seriously couldn't they come up with better names, Whatever.

This situation made me realise the sins I've committed. The whole life cycle flashed before my eyes making me realise that whether I accept it or not I'm becoming an old hag, so why not live my life peacefully instead of troubling others or getting into troubles.

So With the help of my wife I did something that I thought would never do in my life but it was necessary too. Yes, I apologized to Victor and Twins but most importantly Iris whom I blamed the most without any mistake of hers.

I must say it was awkward in a way....

Flashback-

Iris was sitting in the balcony listening to the Chainsmokers when Alaric entered the room after Sofia literally pushing him inside.

For a moment there The Mighty Alaric became sweaty due to nervousness kicking his adrenaline but shook off the feeling mumbling "What's the worst that can happen?"

"Uh_hmm", Alaric cleared his throat but there was no reaction from Iris who was listening to the music peacefully.

"Uh_hmm Uh_hmm", he tried it again but still got no reaction.

"Huff! Can you shut that fucking music system off......please!", he huffed in annoyance but realised it's not convincing so he added please in the end.

Iris knew what's going to come so she did as he told smirking internally. Both of them stood in an awkward silence.

" If you're here for a staring competition sorry I'm not available ", saying this Iris was about to leave the room but Alaric stopped her.

" What???", she groaned in annoyance.

"Just_Just listen to me. It's hard for me ok...please",he showed puppy eyes which he obviously learnt from carlos and his wife Sofia.

Iris was enjoying every part of it. After all how often does it happen when the Ruthless Ex Italian mafia leader begs you showing puppy eyes like a 5 year old kid, but she still kept a blank look enjoying internally.

" SPEAK!", her words were neither soft nor harsh.

"I_um I'm Sorry", he mumbled in a low voice.

" Excuse me, what did you say?", Iris was really trying to control her laugh biting her cheeks.

"I said I'm Sorry", he said it loud this time.

" For what?", she still kept her blank look but was amused internally.

"For everything", he replied looking down unable to meet her eyes.

" Everything huh_ can you name the things you've done to me Mr.", Iris scoffed at him.

"For_hmm For calling your existence an accident. For calling you names you don't deserve. For treating you like a trash which you don't deserve. For being a bitchy grandfather you didn't want. For every sin I've committed against you_I'm sorry Iris, I really am", he said with few traitorous tears that chose to fall down at the moment.

Iris understood he learnt his lesson but didn't wanted to get him off the hook that easily.

" You think one sorry will be able to cure the Pain, hurt I've felt and change everything then I'm sorry Mr.Silvesta I'm not that generous and you're not forgiven", Iris said looking into his eyes directly showing all the pain she felt while they outcasted her while Alaric felt the suffering she had gone through coz of him and his family.
