(14) I Want to Stay

"Hey Buchanan what's up?" Karson said when he answered the phone. 

"Is Addie Kate there? Because we agreed to go to therapy together. And she was suppose to meet me and she isn't answering her phone." Bucky said 

Karson opened up his laptop. "Hold on a minute Katie and I just got in from work. Her car wasn't out front. I can track her phone." He said 

Karson relayed the address to him. "That's down by the lake houses. Why would she be there?" Bucky said 

"We'll meet you there." Karson said 

Addie was standing on the docks in her old cheer uniform. She laid her note on the docks with her phone as the weight to keep it in place. 

"I'm coming home Dylan.." she whispered as she walked back to the edge. 

As she turned around fell backwards in that is when The Barnes and The Martins came up the road. They all began to yell for her as Bucky went inside the house he looked around and found the master bedroom. Dead rose petals the air mattress. He opened up the target bag and the victoria secret bag. He read the dates on the receipts "what the hell is this Dylan?" 

He looked out the window and saw a piece of paper flapping in the wind on the docks. He went running and picked it up he read "I'm Sorry" 

He pulled off his hoodie. "Addie!" He said as he jumped into the lake. 

James and Karson went in after him as Bucky found her. They pulled them both out James got Bucky to come to. Karson kept working Addie.

"Where am I?" She whispered as she looked around. 

She was in a white dress and curly hair as she turned around she saw the lake house all fixed up. Dylan's truck in the driveway as she walked up it. 

She smiled as she ran inside. "Dylan!" She said 

"Doll bear you're early." He said as he came over to her. 

They shared a kiss. "I've missed you so much." She whispered 

"I know you have baby Ive missed you." He said 

"The house looks amazing, and whatever you are cooking smells good too." She said as she followed him to the kitchen. 

"Thank you. Sit down we don't have much time." He said 

"What are you talking about we have forever now." She said 

He looked down. "Lets just eat okay." He said 

After they ate they shared a dance on the back porch before cuddling on the hammock.

"You have to go back soon Addie Kate." He said 

"Go back where?" She said 

"Back to where everyone is waiting for you to wake up. Pastor Burke is praying over you now as everyone is holding hands." He said 

"I want to stay here with you. " she said as tears welled. 

"Addie kate my doll I don't make the rules here." He said as she walked away. 

She sat down on the docks as she began to hear "If The Sun Comes Up." In the distance. Dylan joijed her. 

"I love this song. I sent it to Joshua to play for you doll bear. I'm always right here my love but I need you to go back and live your life. I'll be right here watching over you keeping you safe and when the time is right you will be here to tell me all about it." He said 

"I want to stay here with you." She said 

"Addie Kate its not my choice or yours. You have to go back its time.." he said as they stood on the docks.
