A year later,
Bucky loaded down a u-haul for his dad to drive up to Kansas State University. Where he Addie Joshua and Ruthie all accepted scholarships for cheer and football. They all four said their goodbyes to their parents that day.
James and his brother in law Eddie drove the two u-hauls up. They had picked out two apartments side by side. The boys unloaded while the girls unpacked and got everything set up. After James and Eddie left they ordered some pizza and helped finish setting up the two places.
The next day they met up with Sam and Steve as well as Tia and Peggy for their first college practjces. Once they were done they toured the campus before finding a diner to eat at. After that everyone came over to Bucky and Addie's place.
They all had a bottle of root beer or cocoa cola. "To our new chapter." Bucky said as they clinked bottles.
