A year later,
Bucky surprised Addie with a romantic night out. He covered a canoe with roses and tea lights. There was white chocolate strawberries and champagne.
"Bucky it's beautiful" he said as he helped her in.
He began to row them down the lake. "I feel like I'm in the Notebook right now." She said
"Well darlin there isn't white swans and it was daylight." He said
She smiled and laughed.
They finally came to a stop that had fairylights candles rose petals making a path.
"What are you up to tonight?" She said
They stood in one place.
"Addelynn Katherine Martin, on a fall night I had no idea that in 0.5 seconds that my life was about to take a different turn. And that turn it took lead me right back to you the person I was meant to be with all along. We just didn't see it..but we do now. And now I want to give you something..my last name. So Addelynn Katherine will you marry me?" He said as he dropped to one knee.
"Yes." She said as she wiped tears.
They shared a kiss and cleaned up the candles and lights to get back in the boat to go home.
