Chapter 6

Though Lisa didn't speak loudly, the content of her words was too shocking.

The tranquil atmosphere turned stifling and awkward.

Jungkook stood in silence.

The woman saw that Jungkook wasn't willing to speak anymore. Her intention was obviously visible. She couldn't keep smiling anymore and puts down her phone slowly.

Lalisa peeks at him. As chance has it, their gazes meet each other. She immediately looks down and holds her own phone. She regards herself as the background.

After several seconds.

Jungkook looks somewhere else and says to Lalisa. "Em, I am a scumbag."

"........"

"Moreover recently I cannot cope with it." He laughs lightly and shakes his phone. "You want my phone number, it's possible if you start to queue now."

He acts like it's inevitable and right, he acts like everything is normal. He shows no shame nor guilty feelings.

His tone is gentle and calm like he is genuinely curious. He tilted his lips up languidly with daggers hidden in his smile.

"....." Lisa doesn't dare to say anything so she just coughs unnaturally. She feels timid.

She stands beside him quietly and says nothing more. 

She is afraid, so this time she doesn't even dare to peek. The inability to predict what will happen makes her feels anxious. She swallows her saliva and takes a step back.

She gathers her courage and shouts quickly "Ge Ge, bye bye." Then she runs forward away from him.

Jungkook smiles and grabs her arm to pull her back.

"What are you running from?"

Since she is caught, when she just took a step, she realizes the probability of her running away will be zero and takes a deep breath.

"It's too late..... The sky is dark." Lisa hangs her head low and says in a small voice. "Later on my Ma will go home, she will be worried if I am not home yet."

Jungkook looks at the sky. "It's late, how can Ge Ge let you go home alone?"

Lisa immediately says, "It's okay, the bus stop is nearby. My stop is near my house. Ge Ge also needs to go back to your university. It'll be very late for you too."

"Em?" Jungkook says, "Before now, I really couldn't see that you care about me."
