Chapter 36

They go out of the sickroom.

Jungkook looks at her. Today he wears his own clothes, an army green short jacket, in the inside he is wearing a white sweatshirt and black trousers.

He has shaved his beard cleanly so he looks a few years younger, almost like a college student.

He quietly lends forward and looks at Lisa on the eyes. He seems to find it interesting to hear her say those words. He smiles and jokes, "Get married as soon as possible?"

Lisa looks at him, "Isn't it because of your doing?"

Looking that she isn't in a good mood, Jungkook raises his eyes and stands up. "You are angry?"

There are several seconds of silence.

"I'm not angry, I'm just, Ge Ge," Lisa stops walking and says seriously toward him. "In the future don't joke around like that."

Though she knows it's a joke.

But she clearly knows that he will never like her.

So she doesn't think it's funny.

He could be magnanimous and thinks of this as a joke, so his expression is natural.

Lisa lowers her head and wants to say something but she doesn't speak it out. She suddenly wants to vent her anger. She keeps on walking, "Let's go. Later on, I've things to do."

Jungkook stops laughing and walks slowly. He walks behind her, "You're really angry?"

"No."

"Ge Ge had stayed at the hospital for too long so I was idle." Jungkook rubs his neck and says, "Ge Ge apologizes to you okay?"

"No need." Lisa lowers her head and says, "Just don't do this again in the future."

Looking at her expression, Jungkook's feelings are hard to describe. After a while, he asks: "Ge Ge is that lacking?"

"........."

"That could make little Lali become so unhappy?"

Lisa looks at him, she is expressionless. But he looks like he is joking.

Looking at this, she just adds another thing to make him feel suffocated.

Lisa says seriously, "You could."

"......"

"Ge Ge, I don't have any other intention, I just want to be honest." Lisa says gently, "After hearing this, I will go home and cry for a night."

For his illness, Jungkook gets half a month holiday. After being discharged, he could stay at home and recover.

They go out of the hospital and take a taxi to Jungkook's apartment.

Jungkook has only one pair of slippers.

He looks at it. He doesn't wear it and just passes the slippers to Lisa. Then he takes all his clothes to the laundry room. He then returns all the things to its place.

The slippers seem to be too big for Lisa so she could only walk slowly.

Then Lisa sits down beside Jungkook. She takes out a pile of sticky notes.

Jungkook stays on the sofa and plays game.

Lisa opens up her phone and uses her browser to search about what matters that need attention after the operation. She had also noted what the doctor said to them before he discharged. She looks at it and then starts to copy it all to the sticky notes.
