Chapter 9

Lisa doesn't know why she is crying but is surprised of Jungkook's estranged attitude. She says nothing else but from time to time there's a sobbing from her.

Inside the room, Taehyung suddenly knocks out his keyboard and roars, "Wow, this is a stupid cunt!"

The next moment, Jimin throws his pillow toward Taehyung, "If you keep on being noisy, I'll beat your ass."

"Jimin! This is an important moment for me!" Taehyung yells. "Dammit, don't sleep anymore, let's—"

Jungkook pursues his lips and locks the door of the balcony. He leans on the railing and looks around. "Little kid, what time do you usually go to school?"

Lisa chokes as answers honestly, "07:40 a.m."

"You wake up around 07:00 a.m.?"

"Em."

"Tomorrow could you wake up at 06:00 a.m?"

Lisa stays quiet.

Jungkook doesn't mind it much so he considers his words. He attempts to reason out with her. "Little kid, this homework is given by the teacher as your responsibility. It's your own matter. If you did not take your homework home, you can confess it to your teacher, and apologize to him saying you will complete it later. You cannot ask someone to do it for you."

The little girl sobs again and says "em" with low spirit.

It's been two months and he realizes that this little girl is more sensible than before.

Jungkook sighs. "So tomorrow could you wake up at 06:00 a.m.?"

She turns silent for several seconds and says with a tiny bit of confidence. "I could....."

"Then tomorrow...." Jungkook thinks about the time, "Tomorrow 06:40 a.m, Ge Ge will wait at the bus station for you. I'll accompany you to finish it, okay?"

"Em."

"Don't cry anymore. Think by yourself how will you write it down. Then go wash your face and go to sleep."

"Okay."

Then Lisa quickly requests with a low voice, "Ge Ge, could you not tell my Ge Ge about this matter?"

Jungkook laughs. "You don't even dare to tell your brother that you left your homework with me?"

"No." She doesn't know how to explain, she just says, "Anyway don't tell him about it."

"Okay." Jungkook feels very surprised when realized he had a lot of patience towards her. "Tomorrow 06.00 a.m., remember to wake up."

Lisa obliges obediently. "Okay."

"Go to sleep."

When the call ends, he puts the phone down.

The phone's screen is off but Jimin's phone has no passcode. He switches it on and finds the call log. He looks at Lisa's phone number and turns off the phone.

He takes his clean dry clothes and returns to the room.

The room was so noisy. Jimin had got off his bed and was gaming with Taehyung.

Jungkook passes the phone to him.

"What did you leave at her place?"

He just answers casually, "Just a toy, let her have it."

Jimin nods and asks nothing more.

Jungkook goes inside the room to have a shower. By the time, he finishes showering the light was switched off and everyone had gone to bed. He uses the towel to dry his hair and goes to his table and turns on the light. He looks at the table and doesn't see Lisa's book.
