My head rested upon Lucien's belly, my eyes glaring forward. I could feel that both of my children within Lucien were alive, but one of them was purified. I was unsure...if I wanted to find fury within this knowledge.
Because it is partially my fault, but I knew...that they'd slow the process. I just didn't think they would go this far to try and kill my babies...
They're more evil than I gave them credit for. I thought I was the bad guy here.
"Erebus do you know that I am pregnant? How is that possible? Men are incapable of such a thing." Lucien whines and I nod in agreement.
"You're right. Females are the only ones capable of producing offspring...but I made it possible with you. You're the only male that is able to carry children, because I made it so. Once you have the twins, you will never be able to produce children again, because I don't want more. I did this-."
"Have you lost your mind!" He shouts angrily, standing up as he looks down at me in my seated position. "You disappear from my life and do you know what you've just done? Want the human definition of what you did to me?!"
I frown, wondering why he was so angry. I believed I did what was right so that if I was to come back, it'd be fine. I believed they wouldn't harm an unborn child...but I was mistaken.
"What are you so upset for?"
"You knocked me up and disappeared! Like a...like a deadbeat!" He cries out and I look away awkwardly.
I just begin to chuckle, standing up as I press my hands on his shoulders. Forcing him down onto the couch, I grin.
"One...I don't know what a 'deadbeat' is. Two, knocked you up...I didn't do that, I had sex with you. Is there different terminologies for sex now?" I question him and he looked upset with me.
Which was very new because I'm used to him having patience and not being this way. Did...what I do have to be considered as this bad? So bad that he's yelling at me?
"A deadbeat is a good-for-nothing, runaway loser!" He shouts, and I pout.
"I'm not a loser...or a good-for-nothing Lucien-."
"And when I say you 'knocked me up', in the human definition you had sex with me, got me pregnant, then dipped! You were supposed to stay by my side!" He yells causing me to sigh. "Why are you sighing?!"
"Lucien you need to calm down, because I came back. I had my reasons, it wasn't by choice to just leave. You should know that. I even said so-."
"I begged, and begged for you to come back; but you didn't! Why?" He cries, and I begin to see tears stream down his face. "Why did you leave me...alone? Huh? Why?"
I began to feel saddened to see him in such a state. When I look I saw Mor in his bird-form, perched on a nice-looking bird stand. His head hung low as if he was sad that Lucien was sad.
I had no choice but to leave for as long as I did. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be because the angels did the unthinkable. Now I know what they're after, and I know they will do anything to get it.
Even if it means killing innocent beings. That was...a test Chaos told me to try, and I didn't think he'd be right.
"Chaos..." I breathe, and Lucien frowns up at me. Mor just looks up now and I see him look uncomfortable from the name. I already knew that he knew who it was.
Anyone that has connections to the demon world knows of Chaos. It is evident that Mor didn't say anything to Lucien on it...thank goodness.
"Chaos? What are you talking about?"
