****I rewrote this chapter - to an extent. So bare with me. 🤧****

I stood in my shower in annoyance, hearing Erebus' laughter from the outside of the bathroom.

"You think it's so funny to make a fool out of someone?!" I yell in annoyance, and I could hear the pout in his voice.

"I just did not think you would believe me so easily. I would never take you to Hell - by choice. It is not my fault that you fell for such a trap, like the cute person you are." He gushes and I turn off the shower water.

I stood quietly in the shower, contemplating on if I would have sex with him. Based on how he wants to act like this towards me, I think I'll refrain from such things.

"Oh! Do not be like that Lucien!" I hear him whine, and I roll my eyes. I got out the shower and dried myself off. Once I do that I just look at myself in the mirror.

My eyes were back to normal...they weren't how they were in the store. But that's not what's important.

I can't believe that tomorrow there will possibly be a start of a war between Heaven and Hell. They are fighting for me! Heaven wants me to destroy the devil - Erebus. Thus will come Judgement Day... Hell is protecting Erebus and especially me from Heavens' oppression.

Honestly, I have no words. It is all a little insane and thinking about it for too long makes me uncomfortable. Because deep down I know what is right, what I have been taught as a child and a Christian. But I also have what I know is right and believe in.

Right now, I'm on Erebus' side and I don't think I will be changing my mind.

Opening the bathroom door, I look around the room to see where Erebus was. I instantly become confused because he was outside my door five minutes ago.

There isn't really anywhere else he could go-.

I suddenly find myself getting wrapped up in a blanket, scooped up into someone's arms. When I peek through the blanket I make eye contact with him, a bright smile on his face.

"I am happy to hear that you are on my side indefinitely. You have guts going against God's Plan." He whispered, and a chill went down my spine. "But - but! - do not be ashamed. I think it is pretty honorable of you. Many people would never put their heart first before their religions. I mean...there are some who would convert, but it is not all that different. You have much more of a burden on your chest."

Erebus plopped down on my bed, hearing it creak so loudly I thought it broke.

"Let me inform you on a thing called dominion angels. Does that ring any bells for you?" He asked me, and I shook my head. I actually like when he tells me these facts.

"No. I am ignorant on angels, as you can see." I chuckle, and he leans against the headboard of the bed. My body straddling his as I was practically wrapped up in the blanket. My head the only thing peeking out as he held the blanket together from falling a part.

Erebus grins at me, and I feel his fingers suddenly graze my back. Feeling them trace certain parts that intrigued me.

"Dominion angels are the fourth highest ranking of the choir angels. In my opinion, I think they are overrated; but to everyone else they are deemed important. Since dominion means 'lordship' and or 'to rule over,' it is said that they have completely earned that title.

"Their job is to carry out the will of God, assess God's Plan and keep it in order, regulate duties made by God, and they make the commandments of God known to everyone. So they say that they deliver God's mercy to those who pray to God. Which I think is kind of a lie, but that is just me." Erebus rolls his eyes, and I nod at his words.
