"You must be kind." I advise to Erebus as I knock on Lana's door. I was reluctant on coming to her dinner at all, but I didn't want to be rude and decline - especially when I have nothing else to do.
"It will be hard Lucien. I do not understand why you accepted to go. This kind of behavior she is pulling is absurd to me." Erebus shook his head, his hand touching the top of the doorway. "I can already tell I may be too tall to enter into there. Maybe this is a sign for me to leave."
I shook my head, grabbing his arm quickly.
"Don't leave, please." I beg quietly, and Erebus stood closer to me now.
"Okay, I will gladly do what you ask of me; but that does not mean I like it." He tells me, and I chuckle at such childish behavior.
"I'm fine with that, much more than you would think. Now, please ring the door-."
We watched the door open, and I see the man she cheated on me with. He seemed to be scoffing at me and I decided to keep a mature composure. Didn't want to cause anymore issues.
When he looked at Erebus though he flinched so suddenly, his eyes diverting to the ground. Glancing at Erebus, his eyes were fading from glowing.
"What did you do?" I sneer, and I watch Logan move around me as if I was something untouchable. Almost as if he was...afraid of me.
"What do you think I did? I altered his mind into what I want it to be - when I am around. What he was planning on saying would have had me yanking out his soul. This is for the best, trust me." He explained to me as if it was best.
Before I could tell him to fix Logan we see Lana rush up.
"Lucien! I am happy you made it! Oh...who is this?" She asked me, and I saw her eyes practically stare in awe at Erebus. I glance up at him and he winks at me, but his eyes harden back onto her.
There was literally no sympathy in his eyes and it showed. He looked like he wanted nothing to do with her.
"A friend. I had no date-."
"What do you mean? I am your date. Do not be ashamed sexy lips." He murmured to me with a look of pride. Almost as if it was a compliment for me that he said that.
"He really is not my date." I insist quickly, and press my finger to my lips. Erebus ends up pouting as he folded his arms, not looking content with my order to get quiet.
Lana stared at me in shock, and randomly grabbed my arm. She began to pull me along and it was surprising to me. When we were in her kitchen she narrowed her eyes at me, and I frown.
"You did not tell me that you were into men." She whispers, causing me to chuckle.
"I'm not. Erebus has a tendency to tell lies...like the devil." I tease, but she didn't know that he was the actual devil. She just smiled as if I was kidding.
"He is very handsome, I won't lie to you - he's fine Lucien!" She cried, and I rolled my eyes as she shook my arm. "Why didn't you ever show me your friends before when we were together?!"
I shrugged, looking over my shoulder to see Erebus eyeing me down. Looked like he wanted to shoot lasers through her skull though.
"I don't have friends." I tell her, and she snorts as she shoves my arm.
"You do have friends."
"No, I really don't." I say a little bit harsher, and she raises her eyebrow at me.
"Okay, when are we going to eat? I did not come here just to watch you both talk." I hear Erebus say, and we both look at him. His hand reached for mine except I yanked it back quickly.
