Ever since man discovered fire and learned how to create it, mankind went on the path of using inorganic substances to create their technology and move steadily into the future. They went from cavemen to civilized people in the span of millions of years. They learned to predict the weather, to look into and explore the stars and the ocean depths, to study the world around them, to develop numerous religions and cultures, and even live in prosperity with each other.
However, it was when the first video game consoles that went to life is where this story's origins are founded.
Video games became a new source of entertainment for humans. Bright colors and sounds on a TV screen created an ideal way for people to have fun. People could finally have something other hand Dungeons and Dragons to help them get rid of all their stress and help them escape from their worries when they were becoming too much.
But then the popularity of video games crashed in part of terrible decisions made by the ones developing them. People were not so sure about playing video games anymore.
That is until a company by the name of Nintendo stepped onto the scene.

Super Mario Bros, an platformer game filled with enemies, obstacles, and items, all surrounding the plot of a plumber coming in to save a Princess (Princess Peach) from the dreaded King Koopa (Bowser).
These two alone caused a massive explosion in video game popularity that had since skyrocketed from the late 1980s to the early 21st century where we are now. Many games and gaming consoles were made within this span of time. The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Kid Icarus, Pokémon, Donkey Kong and many other game series came forth from this cauldron of creativity and imagination.
However, this caused something that the world itself was not made aware of. A world beyond our own imagination. A world beyond our comprehension. A world unlike any we had known had come to existence.
That world was VideoWorld, the World of Games. A world in which all of mankind's video games came together to form a realm in which our favorite video game mascots came together and lived with one another. Characters from other worlds began to live with each other and create a world beyond imagination. It was a world beyond our reach and beyond our limits.
