"so, Mr Philips where were you on the eighth of may last year?" Quackity asked standing infront of the defendant, the jurors eyes firm on the both of them as the Judge looked down.

"I uh-"

"Objection! Thats not relevant to my clients case." The defence lawyer stood from his chair looking between Quackity and the judge.

"Your honour, if you will allow me, it is most certainly relevant" Quackity spoke.

"Objection overruled, I'll allow it."  The judge glared down between the defendants lawyer and Quackity.

Quackity smiled, turning on his hill back to the defendant. "as asked sir, where were you on the eighth of may last year?"

"uh," Mr Phillips tugged on his tie nervously as he leaned into the mic, "I was at my ex sister in laws house, Jess."

"And why were you there?"

"Gardening?" it sounded more like a question than an answer which immediately caught the attention of the judge as well as the jury

"didn't you sustain an injury to your left knee a week prior, surely gardening must've been rather painful especially so soon." Quackity grabbed some papers off his desk, handing it to the judges hand, It was a medical document showing he had been in hospital for a surgery a week prior to the date stated.

"Well yes but-"

"Did you have any other relations with Jessica Smith? Sexual or intimate relations perhaps?"

"Objection! Once again, Irrelevant to the case!"

"Objection sustained, Mr Hernandez please try remain within evidence already found in the case"

"yes your honour, I'll rephrase" Quackity spoke, holding back a frustrated sigh.

"So whilst you were at Ms Smiths house, you were still married to her sister and our victim Elisa Phillips?"

"Yes, i was, I don't see ho-"

"Was your wife aware that you were there?"

"Of course, why wouldn't she-?"

"How comes your secretary has logs of your wife calling into your office twelve times on the eighth of may twenty-twenty five between six pm and eleven pm asking where you were and when you'd be home-"

"objection!" The defendants lawyer yelled, standing out of his seat.

"Objection overruled, continue Mr Hernandez"

"Thank you your honour," Quackity paused, "So what was it Mr Phillips, you and your wife's sister, ms smith, fell in love? Your plan was to get with her sister then kill her to get her money? It's a little peculiar how not even a week after Elisas funeral, had a relationship with you and ms Jess Smith been announced?" Quackity crossed his arms watching as Mr Phillips scrunched his face up, the judge opened his mouth the speak, possibly to overrule as Quackity had gone on a short tangent.
