The alarm on dreams phone went off, alerting him that he needed to take his medication. He groaned, switching it off and rolling off of the couch walking to the bathroom. He opened up the cabinet and grabbed his pills, he didn't even need to take them with water anymore.
Four and a half years ago he was put on anti depressants and another pill to calm his anxieties. After all, the guy was constantly paranoid about people leaving him. He couldnt make friends he was just terrified of a repeat of what happened with George and Sapnap. The other friends he have slowly gave up with him and left him, sticking by Sapnap. So it just left Dream.
Hed moved out since, now he just resided in a small one bedroom apartment on the coast of Florida. It was gorgeous, he was thankful for its location. He'd usually sit on the small balcony and look over the sea, feeling content.
Partly, Dream was thankful he never face revealed back in his content creation days. Now it gave him the ability to work a common job without being stopped consistently.
Sapnap however (after Dream did a little stalking of his social media's) kept in the public eye, he was now working alongside Karl for Mr Beast who'd since started a television type company which supported small creators and built cheap housing for those in need.
Dream felt bad, he just stopped content creation all at once. Sapnap carried on, however without Dream and George. Fans assumed that the trio had unfortunately fallen out (If only they knew about George going missing.) So a lot of them moved on. Some growing up, others moving to different fandoms and a few incredibly dedicated fans however still stuck by hoping for a return.
Dream pulled out his chair on the balcony sitting down and observing the sea, it was mid noon so the sun was at its peak, burning into his skin. The beach was rather packed today, it was one of the hotter florida days.
He switched some music on, letting it play from his phone as he relaxed. A mix of sea salt filling the air and the sound of upbeat music playing mixing with the sound of commotion in the beach below.
He wasn't too sure of the song that played, it was quite fancy. Upbeat and fun sounding. He checked which song it was, humming to himself along with the tune.
Waste of time, Andrew Ratto.
He added it to his playlist.
Upon doing so he caught a glance of his lock screen, a beautiful capture of Alaska. He loved it there, well he'd never been but he had plans to visit when he got the chance. Realistically he could go at any moment. But he didn't.
Dream still had quite a lot of money left from his fame peak, after all he was always very good with it, as well as the occasional bit of money coming in from his old music he'd released. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough. He was still well off thankfully due to his responsibility.
Knocking began to sound at his door, he paused the song and pulled himself up out of his chair, making a short jog to the door, he pulled it open and he wasn't surprised to see his younger sister stood, arms crossed with a brow raised.
"Mom said i have to come here" Drista pushed her way through the apartment before Dream could get a word out, he slowly shut the apartment door turning on his heel.
