The over-glorification
of being famous
is destroying our youth. People "chase clout" so blindly that they would rather
let disaster unfold
right in front of them,
just so they could film it
and get the views, rather than doing something to help. Videos of people boasting about them doing good deeds, practically begging for validation
from as many people
as they can get.
Well, guess what,
"going out of your way"
to do a good deed,
doesn't mean anything
if you need someone else
to tell you that you
did a good job.
People think they need
the world's approval
before taking action..
you're wrong.
Step away from the crowd
for just a moment,
and tell me what you see, what you hear.
Don't take any information
for granted,
until you know for A FACT that it isn't true.
And what I can't
stress enough, be yourself. Don't live your life based on what others believe is right,
or cool. Because you're cool,
the real you.-Me (9/28/20)
