Bennys pov:
I watched as she walked out the door, standing on the patio. I don't know why she doesn't trust me. I mean, she never said she didn't it but it sure feels like it. I loved this girl with my whole heart, why would I go and throw it away.
I looked back at Logan, he tried to look innocent, "the deeper you dig yourself that whole, the more you gotta climb out." I looked him up and down before noticing a car pull in the driveway and Kinsley being gone.
"Get the hell out of my house." Luke stepped closer to him, basically scaring Logan out of the house. We watched as they sped off quickly, "I gotta go find her." I started walking towards the door, "hey Benny?" Luke asked, making me turn towards him.
"You didn't do it... right? You didn't kiss that girl?" He asked unruffled. "Of course not, I would never... I love her." There was a moment of silence between us, Luke was just smiling at what I said, "and plus, if I did. You'd beat the shit out of me." I chuckled, opening the door and closing it behind me.
The gusts of cold wind had hit my body, sending chills up my neck. The rain pitter-pattered on the roof tops of houses and you could barely see 30 steps ahead of you.
Of course Kinsley would want to go walking in a thunderstorm, she loves the rain. Probably her favourite thing other then me... well I used to be anyway.
I walked for a few minutes when I noticed a figure in the distance, "Kinsley!?" I yelled, squinting my eyes from the rain. The person turned, it was her. "Thank god!" I ran up to her.
"Benny, go back." She squinted her eyes from the rain, the same as me. "No, I'm not gonna leave you out here." I stepped closer to her.
"Look, you know I didn't do it. I just told you I loved you like 20 minutes ago!" The rain poured harder, making it hard to hear. She looked down at her now wet converses.
I felt really bad, I think she was crying. I could really hear but it sounded like she was. "Kins... are you okay?" I asked, putting my hand on her shoulder.
What I thought was crying, wasn't. She through her head back in laughter, I stared at her confused, "what's so funny" I smirked at her, confused.
She rested her hands on her knees, "I don't know what I was thinking!" I continued to stare at her. "You're Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez!" She straightened back up, wiping rain from her eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean!" I laughed, glad that things seemed... normal? "You're cute, you've got gorgeous eyes and a stunning smile. You are my first morning thought, my last evening sigh, and every goddamn thing in between."
I smiled as wide as I ever have, "god, you always make me blush so damn much." She stepped closer to me and held my hands, "that's my job, silly." She smiled. There was a moment of silence until she stepped back, looking me up and down confused. "Since when did you get taller?" She laughed, walking back to me.
I looked down at myself, "I don't know? I didn't even notice. Maybe you're shrinking." I smirked. She shook her head, "just kiss me you dork." She giggled, pulling me in for a kiss.
You know those scenes in movies when they're in the rain and their hair is wet and the whole scenery is perfect? Yeah, that's us right now. Though it felt like fireworks were going off and butterflies were storming my stomach.
We pulled away, I smiled even bigger. "Wow, I didn't think anyone could make me smile this big." She pecked me on the lips and ruffled my wet hair, "your lips are really warm by the way." She smiled, skipping over my comment.
I chuckled, "maybe because we're standing in the middle of a thunderstorm, underdressed." She nodded, "yeah we should probably get back... but first." She ran out into the middle of the street, staring up at the sky. "What are you doing?!" I yelled.
(Electric love by BØRNS came on😭)
"This!" She yelled back, starting to jump around. She was spinning and jumping in puddles, dancing in the rain. Her smile always made me melt inside, I'm so in love with her I don't understand it. I've never felt this good about anyone or anything.
"Wait for me!" I yelled back, joining her in the middle of the street. I grabbed her hand and spun her around, into me and back out. Then twirling her over her head. We made each other happy.
"Wait! Hang on!" She walked over to the sidewalk, setting up her phone. I giggled and shook my head. "What? We're making memories." She smiled, grabbing my hands.
"Making them with the best girl ever." I smiled back, spinning her around again.
"Kins, we should go back." I giggled, taking her hand. She pouted, "why, this is fun!" She squinted, as the rain from her hair dropped on her face. "Kins, your lips are purple." I giggled, noticing they actually were. I was cold too though so I can't blame her.
"Okay, Rodriguez." She sighed, starting to walk. I pulled her back, "Kins?" She looked at me confused, "yeah?"
I took a deep breath in and out, "you changed my life without even trying, and I don't think I could ever tell you how much you mean to me. I can't imagine what things would be like if I hadn't met you."
The corner of her mouth quirked up, "looks like we'll have to keep it that way." I smiled, "promise me forever." I held out my pinky. She did the same, "I promise you forever." We interlocked our pinky's, knowing that this promise would never be broken.
This feel like it's all over the place but anyway. I might end it soon, I was gonna end it now but it feels so short! Idk yet, this could possibly be the end. I seriously suggest reading this with electric love, it feels like a movie.
