Chapter I

Autumn's POV

"Where am I?",I asked myself as soon as I wake up.I roam my eyes around the room and saw three people.

Naestatwa ang dalawang may katandaan sa kanilang inuupuan habang tumakbo naman ang isang naka-hoodie palabas.

Tumayo ang dalawa at lumapit sa'kin. "Who are you?", tanong ko sa kanila. The old woman cried and the old man comforted her, patting her back and whispering something to her.

May biglang pumasok na isang doctor at dalawang nurse. I don't recognise these people. "How are you feeling, miss?",tanong ng doctor sa gilid.

Nahinto ako sa pag-iisip at pinakiramdaman ang katawan ko. I feel ache in my stomach. Tiningnan ko ang bandang tiyan ko at nakita kong may bandage 'yon. I look at the doctor asking for explanation.

The doctor examined me first to diagnose me, asking me some questions."You lost lot of blood that caused your coma", he explained. What? Coma? As in comatose? I can't believe it!

Aalis na sana ang doctor kaso hinawakan ng babae ang kamay niya,"Bakit hindi kami nakikilala ni Autumn, Doc?",about to cry again.

"It's only natural, we have many case just like her case that they don't recognise people yet when they came from coma. Let us give her some time to remember",the doctor added,looking at the old man and lady.

The old man nodded and hug the lady. The doctor and nurses excuse their selves. The woman approach me, asking me if I need anything,"I'm hu-ngry" I was too shy to say it but I very hungry right now.

The man beside her asked me if what I want to eat and went outside to buy food.

While waiting, I was roaming my eyes around the room and I saw a guy sitting in the couch. He was the hoodie-guy who called the doctor earlier.

Habang tinitingnan ko siya, nagsalita ang babae kaya nabaling ang atensyon ko sa kaniya."Hija, I'll just ask your doctor when will he run some test to you so I could know your schedule". I nodded, then she left.

I returned my gaze to the man, he's now looking at me.  He's tall but I can't see his face because he's wearing mask, but I must say that he has a nice taste in clothes, although it's just a hoodie he's wearing.

Tumayo siya sa kaniyang kinauupuan at lumapit sa'kin. I was about to get scared when he hug me "I miss you Autumn" he whispered on a shaky voice.

Hinayaan ko siyang yakapin ako kasi hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko.

Minutes after, bumitiw na siya sa pagkakayakap sa'kin at tinitigan ako habang hawak ang kamay ko. He was staring at me intently.

Nahiya ako sa pagtitig niya kaya nagsalita ako. "Can I ask a question?" "Go on" he permitted.

I stared at him for a bit, observing him. Bakit parang 'di siya nahihiyang tumitig? Is he close to me?

Tumikhim ako at nagtanong, "W-who..who are you?".He remove his mask and stared back at me. Pati ba naman pagkuha niya sa mask, ang gwapo pa din? Huhuhu

"You don't remember me now, Autumn?"he asked the obvious. I gave him 'are you idiot?' look. "Right", he whispered and got up to get bottled water.

Tiningnan kong mabuti ang mukha niya habang umiinom siya. He has mole in his nose, high nose bridge, fair skin. I can say he's handsome!

"Are you my brother?", I guess. Nabulunan siya sa kaniyang inimon kaya napaubo siya habang tumatawa. Hala! Baliw ba to?

Magtatanong na sana ako bakit siya tumatawa kaso dumating na ang matandang babae at lalake na may dalawang pagkain."Oh! Anong nangyari sa'yo Sayden? Okay ka lang ba?",tanong ng matandang lalake.

The old man pat the guys back so he can stop caughing."I'm okay, dad. It's just Autumn asked me if I'm her brother"then he chuckled sexily. Ooohh

That caught me off guard. Dmn! He's good looking and sexy too!

Naputol ang pag-de-day dream ko ng tawagin kami ng matandang babae para kumain,"Oh siya, mamaya na'yan. Kain muna tayo at nagugutom na si Autmn. C'mon!"then she smiled at me.

I looked at the old woman, she looks very kind and genuine.Hindi naman talaga sila matandang tingnan. I think she's  around mid 40's but her beauty's like just late 30's, as well as the old man.

They look like from a wealthy family in terms of they move around. Ano kayang relasyon ko sa kanila?

Hindi ko namalayan na nasa harapan ko na pala ang babae. I was too mesmirize with her beauty.

She assisted me to get out of bed and go to the small dining table near th window. We ate quietly the entire time.

Nakita kong tapos na silang kumain at nagliligpit na. Tatayo na sana ako para bumalik sa higaan ko ng hawakan ng babae ang kamay ko. She look at me, longingly.

I suddenly feel sad about it kaya umupo ako pabalik at ngumuti. "Po?",i asked politely. I look around, just to find them staring at me.

I find it akward so i sit down. "Can we ask some questions? I mean, if you don't mind" she said, I nodded." Do... you recognise us now, hija?" dahan-dahan niyang tanong.

Magsasalita na sana ako na hindi ko pa sila naaalala when the guy interfere, "She doesn't recognise us yet mom. She even asked me earlier if I'm her brother" they laugh.

Nahiya ako sa sinabi ng lalakeng nakahoodie. Tiningnan ko siya ng masama, tumawa lamang siya. The lady smiled at me and hold my hand,"We're your parents, hija. You should call us mom and dad",I felt my body froze for some reason.

W-what? Parents? Bakit wala akong maalala? Naguilty tuloy ako kahit 'di ko naman ginusto.

"It's okay, hija. We understand your situation. Maybe your memory will comeback when time pass by", she comforted me. Alam niya sigurong guilty ako ngayon, mom instinct you know.

"Mom, dad, I should go. They're looking for me",paalam ng lalaking nakahoodie. He slightly bow to show respect both to my parents and then he look at me.

I saw hesitance in his eyes. I don't know what to do. Should I bow too? Or maybe wave my hand? Sa huli,ngumiti nalang ako sa kaniya.

Pero nagulat ako ng lumapit siya sa'kin at hinalikan niya ako!!!!!!
