Hi and hello!

Welcome to my first F1 RPF fanfic. As you might have seen from the tags, this will contain several plotlines :)
Our protagonist, Olivia, tells things from her point of view.

As it should be, I have also created a playlist.

I hope you enjoy the little spinning I had to get out of my head.
I also have no idea how long the story will be, but get ready for a wild ride :D

See you then,

Chapter One: A man on a boat.

A week in France paid for by my little half-brother. That sounds like fun, doesn't it?
Even though my Spanish heart bleeds, as France is a rather unpopular country in my eyes, I'm looking forward to finally seeing some of my friends again.

As the plane taxis to the gate and I look at the week's schedule, some breaking news from popular motorsport magazines flash on my phone.

"Formula 1 youngster spotted with four women on yacht - Is the Brit putting his place at McLaren at risk?"

I put my head back and look through the window. Is this really a week's holiday for me or should I fix something my brother screwed up?

After leaving my suitcase at the hotel, I meet the man who I hope could shed more light on the situation in the lobby.

"Carlos, mi osito!" I greet my best friend. "What has he done, why am I really here?" I ask as he pulls me into a tight hug.

"Nena, I have no idea. He closes himself off to me like never before. I don't know if it's because of his new girlfriend," Carlos sighs and runs his hand through his dark hair. Then he puts on his red Ferrari cap and shrugs.

"But he knows I'm here?" I ask and push my eyebrows together.

"Well, I think it was meant that you'd be here for the French GP, but.... He forgot. At least he didn't mention you coming here once more."

"And what now?" I look at the clock. It was Wednesday afternoon and apparently all the drivers were in the paddocks at the track.

"Now we visit the track and you surprise your brother. Maybe he'll come to his senses then," Carlos muttered and pulled me behind him into the lift to get to the underground car park.

"How is it otherwise... Like, this season in general?" I inquired cautiously.

Last season had been spectacular in the midfield. Ferrari and McLaren hadn't given each other any points until the end of the calendar and it had been an eternal up and down of teams.

"If you mean the new cars: a dream. If you mean what it's like to suddenly have the worst teams in the midfield, it's very exhausting," Carlos complained and I nodded knowingly.
Unfortunately, due to my studies, I was not able to watch a race live last season, but I wanted to change that this season. The new cars and concepts promised much more entertainment and variety. No longer just one particular team with a star or a bull in the top positions.

After the first three races of the season, the suspicions were confirmed: If even a Mick Schumacher had already scored four points in his Haas, it meant something.

"How is it with Ferrari otherwise? Charles really didn't have much luck last season," I say and Carlos laughs softly as he unlocks his car.

I laugh silently when I see that a gold SF90 Spider is indeed beeping and blinking. "When did that one join your collection?"
