Even though I'm happy that Daniel and I are now officially a couple, I suffer from the fact that Lando can't know about it yet. Nothing sucks more than Daniel's alarm clock going off before dawn every morning so he can sneak over to his room before Lando notices anything.

"I can't wait to get on this yacht the day after tomorrow," Daniel murmurs in my ear when we are undisturbed for a moment.

I hear the door to Lando's room open and, after a brief kiss, detach myself from him. Daniel stares at the ceiling as Lando comes into the living room.

"There is news. Max and Kelly are already coming tonight," my brother tells us. "They'll be here in about four hours."

"There's not that much room here," I complain.

Not that I'm not looking forward to seeing them and Penelope, but it's getting crowded.

"And the sofa in the living room isn't really designed for sleeping." Daniel looks at us questioningly.

"What about the one in my room? I think that can be pulled out. Then even a six foot man can fit on it." I shrug and feel Daniel's gaze burning my back.

"Do you mind, Liv?" he asks then and I have to pull all my facial muscles together to keep from laughing.

"Well, if we have to share a room on the yacht anyway..." I turn to him.

"You can get used to each other's snoring." Lando opens the fridge and takes out a smoothie. "I'm going for a jog. Carlos is at the harbour to take a look at the boat, right?"

I nod. "Yeah, he said he'd be back in about an hour and bring some fish for the barbecue. We can start preparing the rest, so everything will be ready when the Verstappen family arrives."

"Don't let Kelly hear you say that! Like she'd ever give up her last name," Lando laughs, putting his airpods in his ears. "See you later!"

Then he leaves the house via the garden and I turn jerkily to Daniel.

"I've never had to hold back my laughter so much. You can get used to each other's snoring," he mimics Lando.

I pat his chest, "Hey, he's just a little boy. And we both do snore."

Daniel presses his lips together. "We have about an hour..." He leans on the kitchen counter, wiggling his eyebrows, but I shake my head.

"Don't even think about it. We'll prepare some salads and you can start by cooking pasta." I point to the cupboard where the pots are.

"Cruel woman." He submits with a sigh.

We work well together and the salads and breads for the barbecue are quickly prepared. I'm sitting on the kitchen counter, scrolling through my social media on my phone, when Daniel moves between my legs.

"I like the height of these counters," he murmurs and puts his hands on my thighs.

"Is that so?" I ask, grinning at him.

"Yes, it provides a lot of space for my imagination." He circles his fingers on the skin not covered by my shorts.

"I don't fancy Carlos catching us," I sigh, but allow Daniel to kiss my neck.
