Hello hello!

Not a race weekend, but a new chapter nonetheless.

We start the countdown of the last chapters... I'm a little excited to finish my first F1 fic, but I'm thankful for each and every one of you!

Reading your comments makes my day much better.

See you next week for Daniel's home GP!xx sourpatchsoda

Before heading to Abu Dhabi for the final race, we stop in England one last time.

"Hey, Liv. You're off this afternoon." Nathalie stands in front of my desk, grinning. I look up from my PC where I am working on a video.

"What? I have three videos to finish editing." I point to the screen.

"Yes, I'll finish that. Just a few effects are missing, right?" She sits down on the chair next to me.

"Uh, yeah. But—"

"No buts. You're off duty. Daniel and Lando are already waiting for you."

"What?" I shake my head in confusion.

"Your brother and your boyfriend are waiting for you at the boulevard. Are you deaf?" Nathalie giggles.

"I'm just surprised. I didn't plan anything," I explain as I pack my things. Just then, my mobile rings.

Lando has sent me a photo of himself and Daniel, sulking. "We're waiting for you."

"Well, apparently, the boys did. Leave." Nathalie hugs me and pushes me away from my desk.

As I run down the stairs, I can already hear excited chatter from familiar voices.

"There she is at last." Lando indicates that we are in a hurry.

"What are you up to? Have I dressed appropriately? You're scaring me. I liked it better when you didn't keep secrets from me." I look at Daniel and Lando questioningly.

"You'll be pleased." Daniel puts an arm around my shoulder as we leave the MTC.

"We're taking a Mercedes so we can drive together," Lando explains as I'm surprised to see us pass both his and Daniel's cars.

"Do I have to go to the toilet first? How long are we driving? Can you finally enlighten me?"

Daniel and Lando just look at each other, grinning. Inwardly I curse them both. I hate surprises.

When we park in a side street of North London a little over an hour later, I recognise the area.

"No! Isn't this where Jelle's tattoo studio is?!"

"Good girl." Daniel looks at me over the rearview mirror and licks his lips.

"What are you guys up to? Lando, are you getting a tattoo?" My mouth stays open in surprise.

My brother grins from ear to ear as we get out of the car.

"Hello, I asked a question?"

"I want to see what it's like to get a tattoo," Lando explains.

"So you're getting a new one?" I look at Daniel, who nods. "Okay, now I'm curious."

We walk up the stairs to Jelle's private studio, and he greets us effusively.

"Well, ready for your first tattoo?" he greets Lando, who has become a little pale around the nose by now.
