Hello partypeopleee!
It's race week!! Finally! Who are you cheering for this week?

I'm kinda manifesting a Danny Ric Podium so yeahh... Let's see how this works.

So, here we are: Another chapter.
I'm so happy with all the feedback you've been giving me and I can proudly confirm that I've already written 8 chapters so far.
So yeah - I hope you have fun with this one!
Friendly reminder... It's not NSFW. ehe
Much love xx

On my way to Daniel's room, I think three times about turning back to just fall into my very own bed to get some sleep.

"Olivia, don't be like that," I whisper to myself at some point.
Probably what I took to be flirting was just Daniel's way of handling people. Not for nothing is he one of the most popular drivers on the current Grid.

Then, when I knock on the door, my heart does sink a little. I almost don't recognize myself. Usually,no human and especially no man in the world could intimidate me.

But Daniel Ricciardo was Daniel Ricciardo. The Honey Badger himself. At 1.80 metres, he is definitely one of the taller racing drivers and I realise that once again when he opens the door and stands right in front of me.

He peeks around the corner. "Are you alone, what about your second half?"

I shake my head. "Carlos is tired, at least he says so. Should I leave? If you want to rest too?"

"Nonsense, I'm not going to leave you hanging," he grins and I follow him into his room.

Thank God, I see a large sofa in front of a television, unlike in my room where there is only a bed.

"What would you like to watch?" He drops down on the sofa. "If you want a drink, take one from the minibar."

A little haphazardly I stand in the middle of the room and then decide to just take a bottle from the small fridge and sit next to him at a proper distance.

"Just turn on anything that doesn't require me to pay attention. I can barely think straight," I sigh.

He looks at me from the side. "The weekend was really something, huh? I'm really glad Sky UK didn't tear Andi apart after the Lando escapade. I think the statement you wrote saved us all from a disaster. Well, even if your brother doesn't seem to have really learned from it yet."

"Hmm, I'll get rid of Nancy. I have my ways." I take a sip of the Coke.

"Sometimes you can be really creepy. I don't like Nancy either, but murder?" Daniel jokes and I laugh softly.

"Well, your boyfriend will get you out of jail. Maybe I will too." He turns on a comedy on Netflix and I look at him in surprise.

"Boyfriend? Do you know something I don't?"

"You and Carlos are hard to keep apart when he's not scurrying around Ferrari?" He looks at me with interest.

"You don't really think I'm dating Carlos Sainz?"
"Well, are you?"

I burst into a laughter. I've never thought about that before, but to the outside world, I guess we could appear that way.

"Forget it, Carlos is a diva. He's my best friend, that's it."

"Oh. Good to know." He looks at the television.

There it was again: a teeny-tiny comment, one of many that Daniel has made since I arrived on Wednesday.
