"You've managed to gather all necessary information from their phone call, I presume?"

"All of it, yes."

"A well done, Lady Wifi," a voice congratulated within the aforementioned akuma's head. The violet symbol hovering in front of their face glowed a harsher colour as it carried on, "Tell me, how accurate were my suspicions?"

"You're correct in Marinette and Luka dating, it's as clear as day. I looked through Chloe Bourgeois' phone messages to confirm it."

Hawk Moth was silent for a moment, before a sinister grin overtook his features. With a note of pride in his tone, he spoke, "Good... and of my- other suspicion?"

"I've never seen a person more lovesick than that Kagami with Marinette," Alya spat. "It's honestly some sort of miracle that Marinette hasn't caught on to her feelings yet."

"That indeed, though it does work in my favour."

A smirk stretched upon Lady Wifi's face. "How so?"

"All will be revealed in due time, dear akuma. Though for now, I believe this will be your last ever akumatization - lest a time comes when you become compulsory to call upon."

Alya felt an enraged gasp escape her throat. "What! Why?" she cried, shooting up from her crouched position atop a metal beam that reached a dozen metres high. Barely-concealed rage began to flow through her veins; the only thing preventing it from bursting out was how tight she was clenching her fists in restraint.

"You've simply lived out your purpose, Lady Wifi. That is all," Hawk Moth replied dismissively, as if she were a mere puppet being abandoned and cut loose from its strings. "And, of course, adding in the fact that you've been a tad bit too cruel with my son, as of late."

"Son? What are you-"

"Farewell, Lady Wifi. It was a pleasure working with you."

The only evidence left of their interaction ever happening was the pure white butterfly broken free from his control, and left to float and wander in the ever-darkening Parisian night sky.

"Nathalie?" Gabriel Agreste called. "Clear my schedule. It seems a perfect opportunity has risen to finally get our hands Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous once again."

"Of course, sir," his assistant agreed with a nod. She made a move to walk away, yet a sudden afterthought struck her. Glancing back with a secretive stare, she quizzed, "Might I assume it will involve the Peacock miraculous this time?"

"Correct you are, Nathalie. After all, no anger is more ferocious than that of a raging dragon. It would make for the perfect sentimonster alongside an akuma, would it not?"
