It was just Rome's luck. He will never argue with his best friend Emma while holding his wand again. But it was partially Emma's fault. She made him use a big gesture and let the freaking stick, flew out of his hand. How could he know this piece of wood could fly across a whole hall and land straight on his crush's face. Their first meeting shouldn't be so embarrassing.
"Is this your's?" A man asked, waving the wand in front of his shocked face. Rome stiffly nodded, taking the magic item from his crush hand. Blushing as their fingers brushed against each other.
"I am Pick. Nice way of getting my attention, cutie." Pick grinned, winking at the still stunned boy.
"Rome." He manages to answer while trying to calm his wildly beating heart.
"I will surely remember you, Rome. See you around." Pick patted his head before leaving an awestruck fanboy.
