I got into my car and waited for my dad to pull out. The movers' were behind him and I was behind the movers. I pulled out behind the movers in my new 2015 Camero. I turned up my radio and sped down the radio and made my way down the street. Then, my song started playing.
"Making my way down town, walking fast, faces past, and I'm home bound."
I started beating on my steering wheel and singing loudly. I dropped the top down on my car and started to yell.
"'Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you!"
People were shooting me looks of annoyance and disgust. I flipped them the bird, and laughed at the expressions on their faces. It feels good not being able to feel anything.
5 Hours Later
It took us five hours, eight gas stops, and three stops at fast food restaurants to actually get to Mystic Falls. The moving guys went on ahead to our house with my dad. I stopped at the infamous Mystic Grill. The decor was horrible from the outside. It was a tacky brick building with even tackier letters spelling Mystic Grill. I guess people don't have any class. People were staring at me curiously through the glass window. I locked my car up and strode purposely in the establishment.
"Hi! Welcome to the Mystic Grill! What can I get ya?"
"A table and it's you not ya."
The busboy looked shocked and stared at me with huge eyes. He was blonde with huge blue eyes that regarded me with shock.
"Are you gonna get me a table or not?"
His head nodded and he lead me down this little path. The decor was even worse inside with wooden tables and wooden chairs. It had a dart board and a pool table. My nose turned up even more. Why did we have to move back here?
"Here's your table. I'll be back to get your order soon. What kind of drink will you like?"
"Sweet tea."
"Okay."
He rushed away from my table with his cheeks pink from blushing. I saw him talking to some blonde chick before they both turned and looked at me. I raised an eyebrow at them as the girl stared at me with a cool expression. By then, everyone in the restaurant was staring at me with confusion in their eyes. No one recognized me. I wasn't surprised because I did lose a lot of weight and I have grown up a lot. Barbie as I decided to call her sat right in front of me.
"What do you want, Barbie?"
"I'm Rebekah nice to meet you."
She held out her hand expectantly for me to shake. I stared at her hand and looked back up at her.
"I'm sorry, but I don't shake people's hands."
"You're a bitch."
"Thank you."
We stared at each other for a few seconds. It was a full-blown stare down for over two minutes. Barbie or "Rebekah" finally blinked and looked away. I did a dance in my head as she took a deep breathe.
"I think we're gonna be great friends."
"I don't have friends."
"Alright. Bet."
She stood up from my table and marched away as the bell on the door rang. Then, the person I wanted to see most walked in surrounded by her "posse". Rebekah walked back over to me.
"What's your name?"
"Callie."
A group of collective gasps echoed around the room. That's right, bitches. I'm back.
