Goodbye Williams

Abu Dhabi, the last race of my second season and my last race at Williams. I really had to make this one count. Sadly mason wasn't here to support me today as he had a football match but I had to get use to it as sometimes my races are on when he's playing ,so I was use to it by now. I felt a tap on my shoulder... it was Andreas Seidl, the team principle of my favourite team McLaren.

"Hey Furber, can you come with me a minute?" He is the team principal of my favourite F1 team I had to go with him, what's the worse that's going to happen.
"Yes of course!" I replied and followed him to the McLaren garage. "Your contract is up with Williams and I head your a huge McLaren supporter and I want to offer you a seat to race for us in the 2021 season!" He said with a smile on his face, he seemed so comfortable talking to me, he had a huge smile on his face. "W..Wow really?? I'd love to, thank you so much for the opportunity!" I was full of happiness at this point my all time favourite team wanting me to race for them...how could I say no! "Great! All you need to do is sign this and your part of the team. Oh and Lando will be your teammate" I get along with Lando quite well and I'm sure we could adapt our relationship! I signed the papers, I'm officially part of the McLaren team after this race.

"You need to get to your team, the race is about to start" Andreas said with a smile on his face. I smiled back a jogged to my car. I could tell he was looking at me, i knew I had to make a good impression in this race, I can't let him down.

"And it's lights out and away we go!"said the commentators. Before I knew it, it was the second lap, I was in a good position in the race right now. I was in 5th place and I need 7 points to beat Lewis and be 2nd in the championship so this race counted. I pushed and pushed to earn as many points as I could. I came 3rd place and I was over the moon I was 2nd in the championship!
I celebrated with my team. Oh I wish Mase was here right now, I miss him so so much. I went on the podium, it was me, Max and Lewis. We were having the best time up there.

In the corner of my eye when I was spraying the champagne, I saw Andreas and Lando looking at me. I waved at them, Andreas waved and lando gave me a smirk. I was assuming Andreas told him about mr and he was happy about it but I wasn't sure so I just ignored it and had the best time of my life.
