Miki walked by dozens of tents with survivors inside. All she could hear was groaning and crying. A doctor waved a geiger counter over half a dozen survivors and shook his head in dismay.
One young girl was screaming over their dead mother before they were pulled away by their father. Miki couldn't take it anymore and ran to somewhere were she couldnt hear the sounds of death and burst into tears. Carr was already there also traumatized. After a while they were both silent.
"Come on...they're gonna be bringing more trucks full of em soon.." Carr said trying to calm himself down. Miki nodded and they both started walking over to Miki's helicopter. As they lifted off Miki saw a few trucks full of people pull up to the makeshift hospital below them. "This is a disaster..." Miki said. "No kidding..." Carr said back.
Miki turned on the communication device and told Brian what happened. "How did Gojira even come back?" Miki asked. Brian thought for a moment then spoke, "well...maybe it had something to do with that dorsal plate launched of Shin a few years back, and since then maybe a kaiju or the tides started moving it away from Rome. Some kaiju probably thought it was food and brought it back to their nest and threw it out when they saw it wasnt edible."
Carr spoke up, "and you think all these things happened and caused the dorsal plate to come in contact with Gojira's skeleton?"
Brian said it was just a theory he had. They turned the helicopter back towards Japan and headed home.
