The city was being evacuated. People were quickly being led down the tall buildings of the city while soliders starred out the windows toward the ocean. Tanks were lined up on the coast line ready to defend the city, artillery was placed on the tops of the taller buildings.
Jets in the air circled around the water waiting for something to appear on their radars. Some citizens stopped and looked at the ocean when they heard a low growl. One of the soliders looked through their binoculars and searched the surface. Something appeared and the jet's radar and the squadron swooped down and dropped bombs on the approaching kaiju.
The kaiju passed under the golden gate Bridge and headed for the shore. Oak leaf shaped dorsal plates burst out of the water glowing a bright teal. The kaiju rose out the water and everyone froze in surprise.
Standing at the shore was a 100 meter tall godzillasaur covered in cracks glowing teal. The eyes and mouth glowed like fire with the same color. The kaiju was covered in bumps and ridges that resembled the keloid scars of survivors of the atomic bombs. The citizens screamed as the kaiju started moving forward.
Gojira had returned.
