Gojira looked at Junior with a blank expression. Junior looked back with a look of regret. Gojira started to turn into glowing particles that floated into the sky. Junior looked down.
"D-don't...forget...what they...did." Gojira said as he faded away. The sky filled with the teal particles as Gojira dissapeared. The particles floated up into the sky and faded away.
It was quiet. There was no victory roar. There was no cheering. The only sound was the crackling of the fire. Rain started to pour down to extinguish the fire.

Junior stepped into the cold water. He felt alone. He truly was the last of his kind. Junior walked deeper and deeper into the ocean water and disappeared under the surface.
